boruto may even have some kyubi chakra, he has the same things in the cheeks as naruto, naruto got it from the kyubi, maybe boruto will be like the 2 brothers that were eaten by the kyubi and got his power.
boruto have great chakra reserves (uzumaki + some kyubi chakra), and we've seen that he is a genius like his ancestor minato.
his rivalry with sarada will make him stronger.

Boruto wont ever get the byakugan. Its not the sharingan, you dont unlock it you have to be born with it. Boruto already is a mini power house. He looks like he has way more chakra than Naruto at his age because of the kyuubi marks on his cheeks which as seen with the gold and silver brothers anyone with the whiskers is influenced by kurama's chakra. Boruto also knows how to use shadow clones. Naruto probably already taught him the rasengan. Also in the future Boruto will learn sage mode.
