The thing is, Hahirama is not the protagonist, Naruto is, and if you are comparing him with Hashirama, you can also compare him with Kakashi or Obito, and of course, Jiraya.

No one called Hashirama the protagonist. Manga itself outright stated Hashirama = Naruto, Madara = Sasuke.. Same sh*t new people..
Naruto is related to Obito.. not Kakashi.. while you were comparing him to Kakashi..And on top of that the only comparison he had with Obito was their dream. And that is pretty much it. As far as "rin" = " Sakura" goes, the fact is that Rin also realized that Obito loved her , and had a change of heart. So in which are you comparing them?
As I said before those comparisons aren't even close to that of Hashirama = Naruto.....
