I love their designs. Sun & Moon anime is definitely the peak of the pokemon anime IMO.

How is it plain bad? If you're going to make a ridiculous claim as that at least back it up. Again, they "diluted" the quality which allowed for interesting ways to animate not just Ash but all the characters in more expressive ways. If anything X & Y Ash looked so bland/generic and had not much to really animate.

No, I'm denying your ignorant opinion on the animation. There's a difference between the direction of the art-style change & the animation. The former is preference, while the latter has very little debate as it offered more animation with the character models and if you've seen just an episode it would be very clear.
