Tobi created his own 6 paths of pain and they all have their former tailed beasts inside them. Akatsuki captured 7 beasts yet there's only 6 of them being used. Did Tobi just leave the extra beast in the statue or is it in someone? I wonder if he put it in himself or he teleported it into his own dimension and is going to throw it at someone lol.

I don't think that's how it worked. I think that each of the jinchuriki was able to hold onto a piece of their Bijuu's chakra, allowing them to use their unique abilities and generate (at least) a single tail. I think all of the beasts are still in the statue.
It was captured by Diedara, and it did have a host; Gaara.
What? all six paths are jinchuriki; the only one who wasn't is Tobi. There are nine hosts, and three of them are alive (albiet, one of them doesn't have a Bijuu anymore), so there are six dead. ergo, all six are previous jinchuriki.
Nope, Tobi has 7 beast, 6 paths and all of them are edo jinjuurikis with their beast powers. Doesn't mean Tobi has implanted the beasts into them. Even if he did, there would be one beast too much.

they were all jinks, gaara is alive so tobi either has the sand to himself or stored up
