What you people do not understand is that.....Edo Madara is neither Uchiha Madara or Senju Hashirama.
He is a completely separate being! Human beings have limits, their chakra is finite, and their bodies are not indestructible.
Edo Madara doesnt have those limits! His chakra is infinite and his body is indestructible! The only way to put him away is by sealing.
On top of everything else! Edo Madara has a Rinnegan, which is the result of a union between his and Hashirama's DNA. Something he couldnt even achieve while alive until he was a decrepit old man hiding in underground caves.
When they were living, breathing human beings, with all the limitations that come from having a real human body, like limited stamina, being prone to injuries, vulnerability, limited chakra and energy.....Uchiha Madara could not fight like Edo Madara can fight, nor could Senju Hashirama use his wood jutsus like Edo Madara uses them.
What people don't get is that when Madara was in his prime, he was no stronger than EMS Sasuke is today, possibly even weaker than Sasuke, because Madaras Susanoo does not have the Amaterasu implemented into it like Sasuke's does.
Hashirama was known for suppressing the tailed beasts powers. It is the reason he was chosen as the First Hokage.
The Flower Tree World was used to incapacitate his opponents through the sleep inducing properties of the pollen in the flowers. It was used to knock his opponents unconscious.
The Wooden Dragon's one and only use was the suppression of the Ninetails when Madara had it under his own MS Genjutsu.
He was also known to use the land itself in accordance with his will while in battle.
I am not downplaying Hashirama here, I am asking you, do you really think he could do all of these things endlessly?
Hashirama had a limit as well.....
You are all over estimating Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama because you are all completely dazzled by Edo Madaras abilities who doesn't have a limit on his chakra or stamina.
If he was flesh and bone, and didn't have Hashirama's face sticking out of his chest, The Five Kage could have stopped him long ago......
