Misconception that Obito fought on par with Minato

I had never looked at it that way. Congrats for having me thinking. Now I realize that what Minato may have meant by "he saw through all my actions" is that Obito knew too much about a female jiinchuuriki's weakest point, and about trespassing Konoha without triggering the alarm. If I see it that way, it makes much more sense. Thank you.

Though, Obito was still way too stronger than what it is normal for a 14 year old. I mean, he did take some ANBU's out, and those are supposed to be hardcore, right? Also, he did take Minato by surprise... The thing is, Minato's reaction speed is perfect both physically and mentally, so by the time Obito thought he had Minato in his hands, the latter had already thought some plans to kill him.

About Obito being stronger than Minato now that he has the Rinnegan... Not sure. See, people think that Minato is only about Hiraishin No Jutsu and Rasengan, but nobody seems to take into account that we've never seen him all out. Fighting with his 100% might. We never even got his Element Affinity. There are probably as many things we know about Minato as the ones we know about Tobirama. Roughly speaking. So I would hold back when comparing Obito and Minato right now.

I agree that we haven't seen much of Minato's arsenal but Obito with 6 paths was just freakin' OP. I still find it a little alarming that nobody died during that battle but whatever..at least Guy should have died or something. Just shows how powerful Bijuu Mode Naruto is. Personally the only people that I think are above Obito w/ Rinnegan 6 paths and Gedo Mazo are...

Obito for me is like, the most interesting Uchiha of them all, next to Shisui. His Mangekyou Sharingan for some reason doesn't make him blind, or at least it has never been stated whether it does or doesn't. And also, I find his teleporting ability to be the coolest one, even cooler than the Hiraishin No Jutsu to some degree. I love it. But I think Obito is still beatable by more than three people. So far he has fought with the help of Jiinchuuriki, Gedo Mazo, Edo Madara and Juubi.

I would love to see him fighting alone, so he can use his Rinnegan abilities to their full extent. THEN we would be able to judge more properly. I still think Naruto would beat him, though... From the moment he won against the Rinnegan, I can't bring myself to think of Naruto losing to another Rinnegan, unless of course this Rinnegan is Madara's.

Unfortunately, my gut tells my Obito's fighting Kakashi. Naruto has to save his power for Sasuke.

The one thing people seem to forget is that he was controlling the ninetails while fighting minato and minato still needed ftg lvl 2 to beat obito. Had obito not been controlling the ninetails and obito vs minato still occured then no telling how the fight would have gone.

Minato, Manga, and Kishi, Logic, Me, and most other fans disagree.

If he wasnt on par with Minato, then Minato wouldnt even have needed to use Rasengan OR FTG. He would have just needed to use a kunai.

I will agree that Minato schooled Obito, but Minato wasnt going easy. He won with high diff. Because he relied on perfect timing, if he was off a few seconds, he would have lost.

Minato thinks otherwise. In fact, the only reason why Obito lost was because he had no prior knowledge to FTG lvl 2. That plus he was running on a time limit much like Minato himself.

Not really fodderize but I do agree that 6 paths Obito definitely takes that one. Current Obito is a different story.

I have a question, does 6 path's Obito actually exist? Aren't the Jinchuriki Kabuto's summoning and therefore Kabuto's power. And besides, after edo tensei was undone by Itachi, didn't Obito lose them??
