Theory, prediction, assumption, guess..... same thing.

Being the main character doesn't make him immune to death. Main characters can die, especially when a series is nearing its end...

i don't recall garra completely died before the one tail was extracted, but yeah i believe naruto will survive .. too bad though

Gaara didnt even move since the moment Shukakau was extracted ... which kinda suggests he died that moment or was at least growing cold the moment extraction finished.

Even with the half part of the 9 tails, Naruto would still die if extracted. Remember when the kyuubi was extracted by Madara, Minato said the only way to save him was to seal the other half in him. So I dont understand your analysis.
