Misconception: Kakashi did warped Hachibi!!

No. The fact that the horn came out of Kakashi's eye means, that he kamuied out Hachibi, not just a tentacle (in this case there would be no horn).

So then, does that mean it is possible to kamui a bijuu to the other dimension and keep them there? If a bijuu dies, they will just resurrect. But, if they are trapped in a different dimension, couldn't that prevent the ten tails from ever being resurrected (if obito is killed)? It could eliminate the need for Jinchuriki.

Great thread and OP is right. Kakashi warped the whole hachibi except for that one tentacle that Bee left hanging out. I think mr. Bulldog above is right too that Kakashi only recently learned where things go when he warps them also. And for those saying "why not warp the jubi" well Obito is attached to it and we've seen Obito can block Kamui so the next best thing for Kakashi is to warp his friends in for a kill shot.
What I'd like to know is if Kakashi just learned or copied the ability to pull things OUT of the pocket dimension. Maybe it has to do with his better understanding of Kamui

My theory is that Kakashi only warped the tail and this is why.
If Kakashi can all of a sudden warp entire tailed beast then why miss one tail?
..... What actually happened is similar to how killer bee survived from Sasuke Amaterasu.

For those that don't know how Bee got away from Sasuke.....
A tail was cut by Sasuke's lightning technique and this tailed cut allows Bee to escape but minus one tail. The remaining Eight tails that gets hit by Sasuke Amaterasu is just a one tail substitute (If you apply this to 610 then you might agree with what I am saying.)
Therefore, the reason a tail was cut in 610 is so that Kakashi can warp the eight tails minus one tail which is shown in the final panel of 610. In addition, the one tail you see in front of the nine tails is the substitute.
This is just my opinion but I am pretty sure we will find out what officially happened in the next manga release

Okay but what the hell happened to tailed beast ball? Did kyuubi take the damage? If it did, then he should have been finished after enduring the tbb of the mighty juubi.
or did kakashi warp it, although this shouldn't be possible keeping in mind kakashi's chakra level.
