Misconception : Bloodline = Clan

Another big misconception where the people believe the bloodline of a person determines the clan. For example, Mito and Kushina. People automatically put them in the Uzumaki clan in a VS thread, instead of realizing that when those 2 got married they became part of their Husband's clan.

Mito was born into the Uzumaki clan yes. But after she got married to the Shodai, she was part of the Senju clan.

Kushina was BORN INTO the Uzumaki clan.. got Married to Minato.. became a Namikaze.


Hell some Uchiha were part of the Senju clan before the creation of the village.
This misconception has led to much bullshit in theories and what people claim to be manga facts. YOUR BLOOD DOES NOT = THE CLAN YOU ARE IN. People put Naruto in the Uzumaki clan.. without realizing HE HAS NO EFFING CLAN. If he gets married to Hinata and joins their family.. hes gonna be part of the Hyuuga clan.


The theories made for "SO6P being UZumaki" , or "hyuuga being starters of the Uchiha" and many other theories, have always made it that Blood = Clan.

However no. Nagato was called to have Senju blood (Hence why he is part of the Senju lineage). However the Senju lineage was split in 2, the Senju clan itself, and the Uzumaki clan. BOTH CLANS ARE PART OF THE SENJU BLOOD. Well by now we should already know that the senju weren't like the Uchiha who apparently married into their clan or w.e .

So people your blood does not = your clan. CLAN is a group.. your blood is your lineage.

Good points, I agree.
But bloodline is the heritage of a specific ability or gifted custom of your clan. You can never truly inherit another part of another clan unless you acquire some of their DNA. But they can consider you fam if you partner with one of their members.

Well, ussually, when people call someone an "Uzumaki" , like NAruto, they mean he has Uzumaki lineage. But anyways, Mito & Kushina were still called Uzumakis even after marriage, and Naruto is also refered to as such, so your argument is invalid. And that nagato thing says he's a distant relative to the senju clan, what you wrote was a mistranslation

And why should she have her last name changed? Did she herself called herself that? no. You think the Uchiha who joined the Senju changed their name? no.... Clan is a group of people you live with... guess what.. She lived with her freaking husband.

Personally I disagree. If an Uchiha marries a Hyuuga, just because they are married doesn't mean a Uchiha should be classified as a Hyuuga. Marriage is a word. Family is the people you live with. The clan you are born with determine your traits. What matters are abilities and where you allegiance lies.

Wrong, the senju and uchiha are actually cousins. Since their ancestors were brothers, this makes the two clans have same blood, so you are wrong.
