Hey Naruto is trained by Hokage Kakashi + Jiraiya (who also trained Minato and was himself trained by Third Hokage and was offered the post of Hokage but he deliberately gave it to Tsunade)... So yeah Hokage training Hokage kind of works !!

I think the mini series is just a prologue for the movie and yes, it will focus mainly on Sarada because we need to know her story and since the movie is about Boruto, there won't be enough time to focus that much on her.
