Imagine the mini series is going around K11 kid's probably focusing on Boruto and Salada and their adventures.
But what is the main thing in Naruto that was a constant always?
There where the heroes (light) and the antagonists (dark) who the heroes combated and defeated.
Now if you believe chapter 700 the world is perfect all the bad guys are gone, but both in chapter 700 and the last movie there was no mention of Orochimaru. There where rumors that he overdruged him self and died but that was not confirmed neither is it plausible.
So basicly Team Taka and Orochimaru and Kabuto have vanished without a trace.
What was the main goal of Orochimaru through his life? To learn every Ninjutsu and secret there is and be immortal. And later on his main goal was Sasuke and his Sharingan...
In the very end we see that he quit that goal but i believe only cuz Sasuke would pummel him like a ant.
So it is logical that he will go for the next best thing and that is Salada which he can obtain much easier then Sasuke.
Or Bolt, Bolt because he is the child of Naruto (an uzumaki and distant relative of SO6P) and Hinata (an Hyuga and distant relative of SO6P's brother).
I think he is very interested into one of them or atleast both of them.
So the mini story might be about the kid's battling Oro in someway or another.
The only thing is Naruto and Sasuke are still around so what would prevent them going after Orochimaru and end his life once and for all? It must be a really strong and convincing plot shield.
