hey guys im confused about the 3rd and 4th hokages..
why there is 2 acting hokages in the Kyuubi invasion??

3rd was retired ... 4th was the working hokage..... but as the 3rd was respcted and experienced he helped a young hokage ruling his empire....

yeah! i thought of it as well.
I think because 3rd hokage retired and there was 4th hokage chosen.
but 3rd hokage is still repected as hokage.
when 4th died, 3rd had to be hokage again.. (when naruto was young)

Minato was the ruling Hokage at the time. The 3rd retired but was still alive. When the Kyuubi attacked the 3rd went to battle. Even if hes retired hes not gonna sit back and watch the village get destroyed

Konoha was lucky to have a kage ready to replace Minato when he sacrificed himself to save Konoha. Imagine if he weren't there? Then Tobi would come right back and attack again. Talk about strange coincidence and luck.
