I'm having trouble believing you. I think you may be lying to prove a point. It doesn't have long term effects so how can it cause mental illness, if it caused mental illness than they wouldn't give it to people who were scared sh!tless about dyeing. It doesn't cause heart failure strokes, or seizures either. It can cause insomnia, and very light stomach pains while using it, but it's not he type of drug you can take everyday and get high from so insomnia won't last. If you take acid two days in a row, the second day you won't feel it. So insomnia may last for only a couple hours. If these are your arguments against it, than go look at the long list of problems any other prescription drug will give you these days and it'll far larger. Your professor is lying for the most part.

If that's what you'd like to tell yourself, that's fine.

Acid isn't something you can take everyday. I've only done it twice in the past 6 years. Why would the scientists who have permission from the government lie about the side effects. It's typical of somebody who doesn't educate themselves to just believe whatever they hear if anything. I've done extensive research on it, and have written papers. You've probably been looking it up in the last few minutes of having this conversation.

Never did I say you need to empty a bottle. He specifically said that he drank only small doses, implying he didn't get drunk or feel a buzz. It lightens the mood and makes everything less awkward. It is alright. I personally think alcohol tastes like shit. But if some people like it for the taste, go nuts.

i also kinda agree with this. the problem is there are many biased studies....and a lot of things is still unsolved. so we still have a long way to go to truly understand how and what the effects of these drugs are in the long run etc. but something is true, the fact that many times its addictive and this is a huge problem, as an addiction, no matter what kind of, never has good results for the person..... its a fact that there have been people who developped mental illnes from such substances, but thhat doesnt mean that all of them get these. its much more complex than that^^

1- The you is generical. If you are a drug user, those very dangerous drugs. It applies to all of them. It's not target to you you. Unlesse if you're a part of that group.

I'm not taking a class on solely LSD, that's absurd. I'm taking a criminal narcotics course.
