Minato's Rasengan

I was watching the minato vs tobi fight again and i was wondering why is his rasengan so destructive and narutos isnt. When naruto or Jiryia uses it its never that strong? Was just wondering what u guys thougt?

his base Rasengan is a bit larger than Naruto or Jiraiyas's (although both have bigger versions now), and Konohamaru's is slightly smaller than theirs iirc. Anyway, Naruto made a lot of damage to the terrain vs Kabuto and Deva Path iirc, so it depends on the greatness of the moment i guess. For bigger moments Kishi makes more destruction

It was said a long time ago that minatos rasengan is bigger and stronger than naruto and jiraiyas. He is the creator of the jutsu.

And you wrong. Naruto and jiraiyas rasengans are destructive.

Anyway it's most likely because Minato is the creator and therefore has more mastery of it than anyone else.

Naruto's is destructive, the first time he used it effectively on Kabuto he caused massive damage even though Kabuto had instantly begun to heal himself..and Naruto was just a little kid at the time

Er, what? Have you been paying attention to the manga? It is destructive. The only reason why Minato's appeared more destructive is because of the epic slow-mo moment.

To be fair though man Naruto mastered it when he was 12 and he is 16 now so thats 4 years of training with it but at the end of the day it is destructive. Most of the people he has hit with it are standing upright so you don't see the power it holds so much but when he hits them towards the ground you will get the same effect as Minato's did on Tobi.
