Minato's nature element, and theories on his techniques.

I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to these details. But I can't seem to find a picture anywhere that shows Minato using a nature element.

Wasn't there a video of Minato as the 4th Hokage, standing by his desk, and trying to combine Rasengan with an element? I swear that I thought it was wind. But I can't seem to find proof.

In regards to the Yellow Flash technique. I think it relies on Nature manipulation in some degree. Reasoning: He summoned the Kunei used, which have seals on them. He signed the frog contract, so he knows their Katas and techniques. If Minato can at least sense Nature energy... its safe to say that the Kunei summoned, could be sealed with Natural energy, and thats how Minato knows where they are at all times.

The sealing of natural energy into those tagged Kunai is a GREAT idea man, considering the Yondaime could probably seal anything. Too bad Jiraya couldn't have done that... anyway, I don't agree with the whole "if he can summon a frog, he's undoubtedly been trained in sage arts" idea.. I mean Jiraya was taught cause he was freaking prophesied to find the mountain and be trained there. Naruto was only taught out of necessity.. if he wasn't given sage training, he'd certainly die up against Pein. I really doubt Yondaime was a sage at all!

There was a Minato Gaidan made by a fan where he tries to show J-man a complete rasangen in the hokage's office. It never really specified an element. And using Nature chakra would make sense otherwise anyone could sense the chakra and possibly predict where he would teleport to next. But then again we know next to nothing about the 4th so who knows?

Ugh I really don't feel like rereading the whole arc right now, but I'm pretty sure that being the destined child doesn't mean he would have been a sage. As for Jiraya's last wish... it was for Naruto to be trained by the frogs? Man my memory's pretty shady o_o

Sure he was a sage, remember when gamabunta and pa toad were saying to each other if they saw those familiar forms. Yoda and J-man were pictured with naruto. If he was not a sage why would they show Yoda with the other great sages.

i think yondaime was a sage because both he and naruto where the same cloak, although they are different colors, i think the frogs give that as a gift to those who master the sage arts, i mean unless naruto went out to the mall to buy the exact same cloak as his father while learning the sage arts, this also explains why jman didnt have a cloak bcause he never fully completed sage mode

We have never seen or heard if Minato used sage-mode. I don't want to accept that he looked like Jiraiya.

Another point... before Minato fought the Kyuubi... the villagers said that they had to hold out until Minato arrived. Where was he? He can be anywhere in a flash... remember... Unless he was FAR AWAY Like being at Frog Mountain...

All 3 of them had scrolls for summoning something.... except we Never see Jiraiya use his... even in the battle against Pein.

I actually thought that Only the Hokage wore a jacket like Naruto's... well... until we saw him wearing one... Tsunade wears one..

he wouldnt look like jman if he mastered sage mode tho, and im guessing if he went through sage training he would have mastered it, jman only looked the way he did bcause he never perfected sage mode, this supports the theory that minato perfected sage mode bcause the only other person we know of to perfect sage mode, naruto, wears the same cloak as his father, which was most likely given to him by the toads. minato perfecting sage mode just helps show us how much of a genius he really was, why would you say he would look like jman did???
