Apparently, Minato's chakra reserves are said to be average or nothing special; however, clearly that is incorrect...

Several evidences pointing to the contrary:

Hiraishin

- It requires three average Tokubetsu Jōnin to use the jutsu, likely due to chakra constraints. [ ]

- Note: Minato uses this jutsu heavily and can use this technique multiple times without physical fatigue. [ ] [ ]

Kuchiyose

For all intensive purposes: I'm going to assume Hiraishin is merely a complex use of the Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu.

- After battling a Shinobi possessing Hashirama's DNA and Mangekyō Sharingan, he summoned Gamabunta [which required Part I Naruto to access the Kyubi's chakra] and teleported the Kyūbi and its blast away. [ ] [ ]

- Note: Neji who witnessed Naruto using Kurama's chakra compared him to Kisame who is known to possess Bijū-sized chakra. [ ]

Jikūkan Kekkai

- Note: Just like Hiraishin I'll assume that the size of an object is directly correlated with the amount of chakra just like the Kuchiyose no Jutsu.

- Minato teleported a Jūbi Bijūdama similar in size to the Jūbi itself without use of the Kyūbi's chakra. This should speak volumes. [ ] [ ]

- Minato also teleported the Kyūbi Bijūdama before fighting Obito and dealing with the Kyūbi. [ ]

The fact that Minato's chakra reserves are being brought into question is ridiculous. Especially when the likes of Kakashi can create 20 Kage Bunshin at very little chakra levels and Minato is assumed to not even be able to use the Kage Bunshin at all with Kurama's chakra, it is a bit silly...

The way i see it, Minato has lower chakra reserves than Jiraiya, but larger reserves than Kakashi.

About your Clones point, anyone who can use a SC can create thousands, but that splits their chakra into 1/1000th's which would be retarded for anyone other than an uzumaki for example. So yes, minato can use SC outside of KCM, but it's impractical in a real battle for him to use more than one or two.

Yeah he definitely has very large chakra reserves, but might I say, you should take out the part where he teleported the Jubi's bijuudama.

At that point he is Edo and any question relating to chakra levels gets thrown out the window.

His chakra without nine tails is average but with nine tails it's as high as Naruto. Plus that's average chakra lvl
On the contrary, you are incorrect... Naruto originally needed the Kyūbi's chakra to summon Gamabunta and Minato summoned Gamabunta on top of tons of other chakra taxing jutsus including teleporting the Kyūbi's Bijudama twice. teleporting the Kyūbi, fought Obito, and using the Hiraishin jutsu several times.

It's clear Minato is not something average in terms of chakra reserves.

The Edo Tensei jutsu does not give you the benefit of infinite chakra, rather unlimited chakra. An example would be Mū, the Nidaime Tsuchikage, was unable to use Jinton after splitting his body due to lack of chakra, implying that Edo Tensei does not grant you infinite chakra.

That or he has a rather precise chakra control that allows him to use the necessary amount without having to blow it away like Naruto does.
This is a statement that can not be disproved or proved.

In my opinion, however, I would allude this notion to a Shinobi more like Itachi who has been noted to have a rather low chakra reserve. For Minato, on the other hand, it has never been clear on the extent of his chakra reserves and it is then assumed that his chakra reserves are average for it not being noted to be large, which is ridiculous claim...
