There are a few characters that are praised for having huge chakra pools like kisame, ay, nagato, obito, madara, naruto and others but i think minato gets overlooked. So i will explain why i believe minato has huge chakra pools that are worth mentioning, let´s be clear i´m not a minato wanker but i think this deserves to be mentioned.
First let me go to the 2 main techniques of minato: FTG and rasengan(which he invented).
FTG
Rasengan
Now let´s recall in detail the night obito unleash the nine tails.
So to sum up all minato did the night he died.
1-He used his chakra to keep the seal stable while naruto was born.
2-He used at least 14 times FTG which is a very chakra demanding technique as i explained not to mention he teleported 2 massive objects with FTG(bijuudma, kyuubi) which takes even more chakra.
3-Used a superpowerful rasengan which ripped obito´s arm and broke the floor.
4-Summoned gamabunta which requires a lot of chakra.
5-Performed the repear seal with a chakra beast which also takes a lot of chakra as explained.
6-Performed the ritual to seal the half the kyuubi in naruto which also should take a lot of chakra.
7-Still had some spare chakra to leave in the seal in case the seal was ever broken.
So in my opinion base minato gets overlooked for this but he´s actually a chakra monster along with nagato, kisame, obito, naruto and others.
First let me go to the 2 main techniques of minato: FTG and rasengan(which he invented).
FTG
FTG is a spacetime jutsu, while minato uses this technique quite casually which makes us suppose it isnt very chakra consuming the FTG is still spacetime jutsu and all the spacetime jutsus we know so far are very chakra demanding like kamui for example which always has a huge toll on kakashi, or sasuke´s ST which is a rinnegan base technique, or kaguya´s third eye shifting dimension tech or even the summons are chakra demanding, there are very few people in NV known for using Spacetime jutsu and that´s why very chakra demanding.
Besides the only people known for using FTG is tobirama(which had huge chakra reserves), minato and those 3 jounin who were his bodyguards although they had to use it together for FTG to work which makes it more obvios that FTG takes a lot of chakra if 3 people had gather to use it.

Now rasengan, although naruto uses rasengan very casually too, rasengan takes a lot of chakra too, to prove my point let´s remember rasengan is a technique of more or less the same level than chidori, and kakashi in part 1 who was an experience jounin admitted he was capable of using chidori only 5 times a day, so chidori is very chakra demanding and rasengan having more or less the same power then we can assume also rasengan takes a lot of chakra too.
Now let´s recall in detail the night obito unleash the nine tails.
That night minato was using his chakra to keep at bay the kyuubi while naruto was being born then after minato saved kushina he had at least used FTG 5 times by then, then he used FTG to teleport away a bijuudama which was huge therefore it took way more chakra than usual to teleport, then he used 1 more FTG to escape obito´s kamui, then obito wrapped him in chain and he used once more FTG, then once more used FTG to get behind obito´s back and used a huge rasengan which made the grow to collapse, then he blitzed obito using FTG and undid the kyuubi contract with obito, so by that time minato had already used 10 times FTG and one rasengan, then he teleported back to the leaf and summoned gamabunta and teleported himself and kurama away, the he teleported to bring kushina and narut which means 2 more FTG, then he used the reaper seal to seal away half the kyuubi within himself, by the way the reaper seal takes a lot of chakra if you recall hiruzen vs oro, hiruzen could only seal oro´s hand because oro was too powerful for hiruzen to seal him complete, so if kurama>>>>>oro that means it took way more chakra to seal half of kurama than oro´s hands, then he got pierced in the chest by the kyuubi and seal the remaining half of the kyuubi in naruto which should take still a decent amount of chakra and then he passed his remaining chakra to the seal so he could meet naruto again and reseal the kyuubi if nessesary.
So to sum up all minato did the night he died.
