Minato has speed and brains, I give him that. But the Raikage figured out a way to counter FTG and if he did I'm sure Nagato will to. If Minato would have attack the Raikage (A) then he would've been likely killed. Minato maybe knew that his FTG was useless so he went after Killer Bee to distract the Raikage (A) from attacking. How do you think he is still alive. He ranned away from a battle he know he can't win. Someone finally found a way to counter FTG.

well he can teleport away from Chibaku and Shinra but in the worst case scenario he can move the big mass in the sky or Nagato himself
