OK no one said he can't FTG, theres a difference between teleporting 20m to avoid an attack and ****ing teleporting to your house in konoha and eating ramen until you decide to come back.

He can FTG to dodge, as he did against tobi etc. but he cant LEAVE THE BATTLEFIELD, thats what we call running away.

And the Minato vs. Itachi topic is much more evenly matched, thats why its so widely debated. Nagato is definitely above either one of them in power and moveset

Nagato is kind of in a league of his own, above Minato and Itachi but still below Madara and Hashirama

You know not once have I ever said Minato would win, I just think its ridiculous when people say Nagato will win this easily because that isn't true.

And do you honestly believe Minato is going to charge at Nagato without analyzing first, when I say Nagato will not be able to touch Minato I am not exaggerating. I'm not saying Minato will win but the only way he will lose is by attacking Nagato head on, but by allowing Nagato to waste all his chakra is a way of countering him.

Anyway I need to stop arguing with you because there is seriously no hope for you, you're the same guy that thinks Nagato > than everyone else so whatever you say I hope it makes you happy.

If Minato teleports elsewhere in the battlefield to escape danger, its cool. If Minato has to leave the battle altogether - in other words forfeit - then it only shows that he wasn't strong enough.

Your call on what you meant by 'escape'.

One thing comes to mind: Shinra Tensei. How is Minato not going to be touched by a jutsu that the Sharingan, Rinnegan and Sage sensing couldn't detect?

No, that's a silly thing to do against foes with a particular arsenal. It leaves Nagato needlessly open for an attack. If Nagato was using a clone to divert someone's attention that way, then it would be good. Though with no mention of clones, I believe you actually meant that Nagato himself would do that.

This you need to expand on. The weather will help Nagato know if Minato is int he vicinity, and combined with Nagato's sensing and shared vision will arguably help Nagato keep tabs on Minato. But that alone doesn't make that attribute>Minato.

Furthermore the elements can easily be countered by Minato using his Hiraishin 'mirror', or 're-direction'. It won't do any good if Nagato plans to bombard Minato with elemental jutsu, he's not facing Jiraiya.

Edo Madara (and Tobi) needed Nagato for his Rinne Tensei. That said Tobi did acknowledge Nagato's power.

Those two guys share Nagato's ocular powers now... sure the can't do the same stuff? Furthermore Madara fought the strongest ninja in his time, without the Rinnegan on his side. On top of that, Tobi wasn't exactly shattering Konoha now was he? He was fighting Minato.
