It's not forfeiting, it's escaping danger. Besides when minato teleports it doesn't mean he will teleport away from battle, it's just to another area where he can devise a battle strategy.

It's just that the OP is basically saying that Minato can't use FTG.

It is like Edo Nagato but without the limitless chakra and regenerative ability. The Nagato which fought Hanzo, which was a healthy Nagato. Minato is not on Nagato's level.
