I'll let KCN handle this one.

I've shat on that argument about 50 times. I refuse to entertain what should be common knowledge by now.

Minato stalemated both Raikage and Bee multiple times and was regarded as a ninja of unparalleled ninja by the same ninja (Jiraiya) that Kisame dejectedly admitted inferiority to. The only reason Kisame trounced Bee was due to a Jinchuuriki's natural characteristic of being coated in a massive armor of chakra which enabled Kisame to humiliate him via chakra absorption which isn't relevant here. Also, Kisame was not in Itachi's league, hardly.

Not every top tier, but he's above most Kages due to his preeminent speed, hinted many times within the manga.

Fair enough, as long as you can explain some of your argument without resulting to lazily using the word 'speedblitz'- which you apparently can, I got no problem with the idea. I still think he has a little much to deal with under the conditions with the both of them. Kisame VS Itachi involved him pressuring Itachi into using Amateresu. It didn't damage Kisame but made Itachi seriously desperate. Neither ninja used their final awakening or true trump card.

With Kakazu added too, Minato is going to more than sweat. Call that exchange filler but it happened and you know isn't outside of reality. They're highly skilled and intelligent ninja too and not just big-scale attack chakra tanks.

That's fair, I'll just dig up your argument and quote it.

Call it non-canon if you want. This exchange happened and is a realistic portrayal of these two ninja without either of them using their final form or trump card.

Ah. You're one of those individuals who believe anime, and video game material are canon. No point in me continuing this.

All I saw was Itachi make Kisame his ***** as soon as he brought out MS, so what's this supposed to prove again?

This is the reason I've stopped speaking in foreign language. You've copied me ever since, none of your post past my join date show you taking advantage of such. Originality is dead.

Can't work out who's more pretentious between you and pretentious. And that's some stiff competition.

Also @ Pretentious.

Being overly author-centric and treating the manga like some biblical text is even sillier, just like a lot of NB users who fail to think for themselves about the reason we're all here? There's nothing in that video that was out of character or out of possibility, you know that.

So conceited as to think that others are copying him. Cute, at best. But unlike the Latin wannabe, I actually originate from the language I speak. Mort en effet; Dead indeed.

Both are fine. The video was a pseudo-friendly brawl and they both had a joint understanding that Itachi was needed with his bigger jutsu elsewhere.

Tace. That's latin for: "jesus christ are you obnoxious acting pretentious and elitist on a Naruto forum."

[ToshiZO]

Because being paired with someone shows how close you are in strength. Konan/ Pain, Hidan/Kakuzu.

All that panel says is Kisame is strong. There is strong and then there is Itachi strong, that's worlds apart.
