No restrictions.

70 meters.

Limited chakra.

In a grassy meadow like the one pain stood in before entering leaf village's barrier.

This is base Minato.

I'd say Minato because if he sets up enough marked kunai then he would be able to evade Hidan's scythe and any attempts to draw blood. With the starting distance being 70 meters, Minato could start the battle by throwing a bunch of marked ftg kunai across the field. Hidan doesn't have the speed to be able to go from kunai to kunai fast enough to catch Minato as soon as he teleports. Minato could use food cart destroyer to crush Hidan's bones and incapacitate him, and enough rasengans would probably do enough damage to incapacitate him as well.

I don't think Hidan is all that fast, so going with Minato. Minato could turn Obito to putty, so no doubt he could do it to Hidan too. The problem is intel though. Minato could get cut if he thinks he can end the match in a single strike like most of his others.

minato 0 diff. Hidan is trash
You're underestimating hidan's speed.

Hidan dodged shadow snitch which Kakuzu had difficulty dodging.

He dodged it and overpowered asuma at the same time.

Minato's kunai will be tracked and hidan'll easily react to him

Same Kakuzu overpowered Sharingan Kakashi who kept up with part 1 5th Gates Lee easily.

His scythe can cut through most substances: as Kakuzu had to dodge it instead of tanking it with Domu.

Minato is not that fast.

He has to mark his ftg to teleport at the location.

Kakashi was called 2nd fastest jounin in leaf in part 1.

Yet kakuzu overpowered him and same Kakuzu couldn't dodge shadow snitch easily.

Same hidan was dodging shadow snitch effortlessly and beating asuma in CQC effortlessly.

Hidan will parry so bad, that he'll grasp blood lets and kill that dude before he get's a chance to teleport.

Hidan can dodge all of his attacks.

Minato has no chance of winning.

What's the point of this? Didn't Hidan himself admit that his attacks are the slowest in the Akatsuki?

Hidan wins. He was within inches of cutting 3T kakashi's head off from 15 m away. That dude is an immortal tank spamming shushins. He can take MInato on and beat the blonde punk to a pulp. Everyone else's opinion above are trash.

Stomp thread. Minato negs even without ftg.
Hidan has shown, great durability.

He tanked Fuuton: Atsugai without any damage, even though, fuuton is known as the element with the most force in it.

And Kakuzu is someone who mastered all the elements perfectly according to kakashi.

Rasengan wouldn't penetrate him, only cutting attacks would do the trick, of which Minato's option is flying thunder god kunai, which is negated by the fact, the scythe can twist and turn 360° according to Kishimoto's fanbook. He admitted he hurried hidan arc so he couldn't show all of his abilities.

Sharingan could keep up with five gates lee but barely avoided his scythe strikes.

Minato doesn't have a speed feat which's capable of suggesting it can overpower hidan in base.

Kakazu arc Shikamaru beat hidan. I don't need to say more.
