Also FTG is instant thus 8 gates cant really do much since it is running and FTG is instant lol. So basically when Minato disappears and reappears its the same time and everyone is where they were before.

naruto's not at his dads level yet? i think at this point we've seen that he has surpassed his dad at least in ninja ability
