FTG is one the best defensive techniques in shinboi world which can make you avoid any attack if you want.
In fact, Space time barrier can just send the attack right back to you if needed.
It can also counter , ALL INCOMING ATTACKS.
Yes , the juubi beam can also be countered with ST barrier and even used against the juubi itself

Space time barrier is REALLY OP JUTSU and it is really underrated.
