Remember what he put on naruto stomach when they talked during the battle with pain?
Naruto in front of nagato and the 1st...no way.
The same seal he used when he talked to naruto in his head.

Thank you everyone for all the rep, Im sorry its not organized i was constantly distracted while doing it. I just wanted to make a thread explaining minato's power a lil and why he's in the top 5 and why he can beat naruto and sasuke in detail and not just say he can win. I feel like to many people have explinations just because they like someone an not because they know why that person can win.

Finally a very good argument for one of my favourite characters. But he misses out on top 5 anyways xd
His fighting style is so annoying bcos he can run away from any battle at any time if he is in any slight danger.
His reaction speed to danger was seen against tobi and raikage, and has to be the best in naruto world or at par with sagemode.
But those 6 above, no
1. Naruto - bijuu mode reminded kakashi of minato, so is probably as fast, but even stronger. Minato can't scratch him with a rasengan. But minato stomps kyubi mode in my opinion
2. Sasuke - will never get tagged by minato. Why? Susanoo + blaze release. Minato can't come close.
But he could still win bcos
A. Minato's fighting style is so annoying and he can teleport away till sasuke's chakra exausts from using susanoo
B. Not sure if he could teleport in susanoo, since gaara's sand got in from underground
If minato could do those two above then he has a chance. If not, he ends up dodging sasuke without havin any chance of attacking himself.
Plot will be on sasuke's side xd
3. Hashirama - minato could last long bcos of his annoyin ftg, but still dies bcos he won't have any real way to kill hashi. Why?
A. Hashi could substitute with wood clones without being detected. 5 kages were fooled by edo madara wood and thought they killed it, till madara came from the tree to stab tsunade. Minato doesn't have the sharingan or rinnegan to detect the difference.
B. Hashi can heal without seals. Probably tsunades ultimate healing jutsu. So I don't remember seeing any attack from minato that could kill hashi with one shot. Hashi will heal.
C. Flower world, could kill anyone without knowledge.
D. Hashi has too much chakra, minato's fighting style of running away from danger will make no difference.
4. Nagato - No. Minato has no chance. Nagato has his summons as extra eyes, he could still use his paths with his main body just as tobi did against naruto,kakashi and guy. Minato has too much fire power to deal with.
5. Edo Madara - Impossible. No need to explain
6. Tobi - this is quite tricky because so far, I haven't seen any improvement in tobi's skills even with his rinnegan. Unless tobi can use his rinnegan then it still looks like the tobi that minato beat before. But I'm sure the juubi puts this in tobi's favor. Even though I don't know how it would hit minato

I've always believed Minato is still top 5, I don't really listen to those who say otherwise. FTG is such an annoying technique that the user can pretty much escape from anything.
My top 5 are:
Madara
Naruto
Minato
Hashirama
Itachi
