[VS] Minato Namikaze vs Itachi Uchiha

I have been going through threads and I believe that a lot of the community seriously underestimates Minato, personally I think that Minato would have a good chance at beating Itachi, though I don't know how he would do against Genjutsu.

itachi's shurikenjutsu > Minato's FTG shuriken, with that out of the way FTG becomes useless. Minato is a close range fighter, how is he even going to get near Itachi without falling prey to genjutsu??

I don't know, I acknowledge Itachi's abilities, but I still think that Minato would be smart enough to not underestimate his opponent and also to avoid the genjutsu, but he could always get caught unaware, just as minato could set a seal on Itachi without his knowing better

Minato isn't avoiding all Itachi's genjutsu, even if he doesn't make eye contact, Itachi has non ocular genjutsu...Rib cage Skeleton susanno to protect from any rasengans...And why would he let Minato touch him? Why would he let a known fuinjutsu user get his hands on him? He fully well knows what fuinjutsu is capable of .. he knows that by the touch of a finger you can put a seal on someone.. he knows because he even did a similar thing to sasuke (Fuinjutsu transcription seal)

I personally think that Itachi has better showings than Minato in every single combat area bar speed.

And even then, Itachi's easily one of the top ninja in reflex/flickers, so it's not like he can't handle it.

I knew you were a genjustu master so i used my FTG to find the real you just in case i cast in an genjutsu.
