Minato & Jiraiya's Journey's
The Shadow strikes
Jiraiya and his team were now running as fast as they could to the Uzumaki clan, after receiving the message.
Little did Jiraiya know that they were all walking into a trap. They ran past trees, bushes, swamps and mud. Onoichi got scratches all over his body; Magazuki was on Jiraiya’s back as she was very tired, from running all day.
Suddenly Minato was trapped in a rope, hanging down from a tree, Jiraiya stopped moving and in an instant he jumped into the air, throwing a kunai, and cutting down Minato and gathered the team.
Jiraiya: “Alright listen up… you must carry on without me, go to the Uzumaki clan, I have business to do”
Minato: “What why… You’re just going to do what you call research…” *Minato had a weird look on his face*
Jiraiya: “Minato, I don’t have time for this… we have been followed… he is very pow….”
Jiraiya was interrupted by a mysterious dark voice, coming from behind the trees.
The mysterious man appeared in a black cloak with a white mask on, only revealing his right eye.
???: “Jiraiya the Legendary Sannin of Konoha, I’m pleased to meet you”
Jiraiya signaled to his team, they should try to escape while they still can.
Jiraiya: “Who are you, and why are you chasing us”
???: “Who I am does not matter, why I am here… well that is a whole other matter, but for now I will have to kill you”
Jiraiya looked straight into the dark eyes of this man, and was shocked, when he realized whose eyes he was looking into.
Jiraiya: “Impossible! I have no choice but to fight…”
Jiraiya got into a ready stance, he didn’t even do his usual pose, he simply put up his guard, which Minato found very unusual.
At that same moment, Minato, Onoichi and Magazuki were running through the forest, on their way to the village, unknown about what had happened.
Jiraiya suddenly jumped straight at the opponent, sending several blows towards the mysterious man, but none of his strikes hit the person and Jiraiya was send flying, smashing into a tree. The tree was smashed to bits.
???: “You didn’t expect for yourself to be able to defeat me…”
Jiraiya quickly stood up, still a little dizzy from the blow, he couldn’t believe the strength the opponent had. Jiraiya had a strange feeling that he had met this person before.
Jiraiya: “huuhhh…. Who are you…?”
???: “Well I won’t tell you… I will show you…”
The mysterious man slowly took off his cloak, revealing his face and the most interesting part… the Sharingan.
Jiraiya: “I’m surprised to see you alive…”
???: “Thank you Jiraiya… I have been wanted to kill you all my life… you are a nuisance…”
Jiraiya only figured out one way to take him down, after he saw who he was up against.
Jiraiya: “I guess I have to defeat you…. Summoning Jutsu!”
Suddenly a giant toad appeared, holding a giant staff and shield, it crushed all the trees around them, while Jiraiya was standing on its back. There he made his usual pose… though he was interrupted by the giant toads
movement.
Gamaken: “Jiraiya… why are you summoning me?”
Jiraiya: “Gamaken-san stop moving when I’m doing my pose! I’m facing a powerful opponent who harnesses the Sharingan…”
Gamaken: “Sorry, I’m a little clumsy… ”
???: “Are you two finished?” *Said with a very dark and annoying voice*
Jiraiya: “There is no time for fooling around… I have to use Sage Mode…”
Jiraiya clapped his hands together and painted red stripes down his face. Then a small light was forming on his hands. While Jiraiya was standing on Gamaken’s back, Gamaken starred straight at the opponent.
???: “I guess this will be a little harder than I thought…”
Suddenly the opponent sent several shuriken flying towards Jiraiya, followed by a huge “Majestic Annihilation” Burning down everything in its path.
Gamaken easily defended against the shuriken, though the flame completely engulfed him and Jiraiya. Jiraiya quickly resolved to reverse summon himself into his own barrier for the time being. There Jiraiya quickly came up with a plan and was now ready to strike.
???: “So you have resolved to hiding… Pathetic”
Jiraiya: “We are not hiding from you!!!”
Suddenly Gamaken landed right behind him with a massive shockwave, followed by Jiraiya sending a “Flame bullet" straight at him combined with Gamaken’s shockwave, increasing its power. Now a massive wall of fire was about to engulf the opponent.
The opponent disappeared in the immense amount of flames.
Jiraiya: “Gamaken-san… Are you alright?”
Gamaken: “I’m fine Jirai…”
He was interrupted by a huge meteorite like rock, smashing down upon Gamaken. Gamaken saved Jiraiya by sending him flying away into the forest and Gamaken quickly left the battlefield before being crushed.
???: “I’m impressed you have survived this long…”
Jiraiya thought to himself “I’m almost ready… He is just playing around… how can a person be this strong…”
???: “You don’t have time to ju…”
Before he could finish his sentence, Jiraiya had created a massive swamp, engulfing everything around them, trees began to sink, and Jiraiya was simply standing on top of the swamp, while the mysterious man began to sink, into the immense swamp.
???: “The Swamp of the Underworld, an impressive jutsu… Though it is not good enough”
Suddenly the mysterious man disappeared out of sight and Jiraiya quickly set up a detection barrier, so that the opponent could not take him by surprise.
Jiraiya: “So he can use Space Time jutsu… this is going to take a very long time…” *Weird irritated face*
*-scene skip*
At the same time as Jiraiya was fighting the mysterious man, Minato, Oonoichi and Magazuki arrived in the village of the Uzumaki clan.
Minato: “What happened here…”
The whole village was ruined. The houses were burned down to the ground, there were dead corpses all over the place and the trees were crushed to bits. Even the children were not spared; everyone was either burned to death, missing parts of their body or simply a stab through their head.
Oonoichi: “Wha… what… happened here…?” *scared voice*
Minato: “Go check for survivors… we need to find out what happened!”
Minato began to search for survivors while Oonoichi and Magazuki was just looking around seeing all the death, made by what they believe was a person with no sense of feeling.
*-Scene skip*
Jiraiya: “I’m almost ready… I just need a little more ti…” *Frustrated face*
Suddenly he appeared right in front of Jiraiya without him being detected by the barrier, grabbing Jiraiya by his throat, crushing his throat and smashing him straight into the ground.
Jiraiya was completely surprised by the amount of power he had and how he could avoid being noticed by his barrier. Though before he could do anything, his throat was crushed and his was smashed into the ground.
