Minato is Vastly Over-rated

I wasn't trying to bash him...I saw a thread earlier that said something like he could solo the 5 Kages that's what made me post this...

Funny you should say that, I saw the exact same thing for Itachi.

Ah, you're correct. However, the ribcage leaves a big gap in the middle, leaving enough room for a FTG kunai. Minato has been shown to create a rasengan in a split second, against Obito. So Minato can substantially get past the ribcage...

Minato can possibly throw a Kunai through the gaps of the ribs...But any Uchiha wielding the sharingan would see the Kunai coming and block it with Susanoo's arm or a basic Kunai or Shuriken

Personally I think people are too obsessed with only using feats sometimes. It's okay for a versus thread but in an actual story like this Kishimoto isn't going to display every jutsu or tactic a ninja has in such a short amount of time. That's primarily why a lot of people love hype too. It's not just for Minato but for ninja like Hanzo too.

To stay on topic though, what we're led to believe is that the Fourth is one of the greatest ninjas in existence and people who know of him almost always corroborate to this. We know that he's a master with seals, so we can expect that simple sealing techniques are almost second nature to him. In the databook it's been said that he's created "jutsu after jutsu", so obviously he has a plethora of things we don't even know about. Remember that the jutsu he used to seal 50% of the Kyuubi inside Naruto wasn't RDS, it was a fuinjutsu that shouldn't actually have many side effects to the user itself or so we're led to believe (which means he can casually seal that much chakra into an item if the situation is prepared).

Yep Sasori too. I think he had an extra scroll that he's never used in the manga (the ones on his back).

But @ Minato doesn't he have Gamabunta too? The databook says that if you can summon Gamabunta you have the skills to summon any toad so he might even have Ma and Pa as well.

Well Frog Song is extremely useful but I would say it's more of a trump card than something that's used off the bat. They're sages though so they definitely have power. Wasn't Pa having a taijutsu spar with SM Naruto? If Minato can summon them they're still not going to be used in every fight or something crazy like that but it WOULD boast of his power. If Kishi really wanted to demonstrate his hype he could always just show Minato with an imperfect Sage Mode but I guess we won't know for a while (maybe never).

Hate to say it, but it's true. And he's one of my top 4 favorites.
Sucks that he never got to reach his prime. Plus, we haven't seen everything he's capable of.
