^^Thank you for stating this. I love it when people (Hitmansasuke23) are too ignorant to actually understand the manga and comprehend everything. So they make a thread trying to sound smart ending up looking dumb over the internet.

What is it that I'm not understanding or comprehending about the manga or minato for that fact...Face Minato wasn't even supposed to be the fourth Hokage it was supposed to be Orochimaru so evidently Minato wasn't better than Orochimaru...He only became Hokage because Orochimaru turned that shit down and turned his back on the leaf

First off let me start by saying that Minato is without a doubt a powerful shinobi but just not as powerful as many of you make him out to be

1. He's beat fodder ninja with the FTG

2. He beat a 15-16 year old Obito who clearly was not on the level he's on now being twice that age now

3. People keep saying he beat A...All I seen was him teleport away a couple of times...and besides what jutsu does minato have that can possibly get through a fully powered up ration Armor of the raikage

To me Minato is a faster and smarter version than base Naruto

Minato is overrated and so is every other powerful character. But what I don't like it's when people try to treasure credit away from minato.

I mean please explain how obitos age makes kinda minatos victory any less amazing. Naruto and Sasuke are 16 for goodness sake and they are top both top 10 ninjas. Naruto singlehandedly beat saved the shining alliance from failing miserably in this war. Can you honestly tell me that the disciple of the most powerful shinobi I have ever seen is not a worthy opponent for minato. He controlled the 9 tails with a puppet, killed an entire squad of anbu hidden mist ninjas, obito has wood style and mangekyo and superior s/t jutsu to minato. Yet minato still beat him while off guard, and protecting village, wife and son at same time.

Now minato has no kekei genkai, dojutsu, or a tailed beast living inside him or was born into a prestigious clan. Yet he was still so powerful. Plus he's had like 4 or 5 appearances and in all those appearances he has been untouchable and only uses like 2 jutsu.

Hes overrated but he is still top 10, there aren't manynthat can beat him. He beat obito fair and square. You tell me if there was anyone else in konoha that would have saved the village and beaten obito. So what if he was 14, at that point he was probably one of the strongest ninjas alive.

Just to add, he owned Ay and Bee, coulda killed them both if he wanted to but he liked Bee as a bonus. Plus why did Bee save raikage if minatos Kenai wasn't going to pierce his amor.

Many of the top tier shinobi's don't have Susano'o. Look, I know Minato is one of, if not the most overrated character in the manga. But what you're doing is downplaying his skills. He has his toad summon and sealing techniques' as well. Kakashi confirmed Minato had an element, but we can't count it since it hasn't been revealed. Minato is capable of defeating top tier shinobi actually. Besides, who says Minato has to get through Susano'o? Why can't he dodge his Susano'o strikes with FTG until he can't maintain it any longer?

If I'm not mistaking bee had Minato dead to rights aswell with his blade pointed right at Minato's Abdomen...My point about Obito is he has shown to be a much better shinobi now then he was then...Better use of Hashi's DNA, much better use of the Kamui and as a adult much better strategy being demonstrated...

2.do you honestly think Minato would hit Obito with that weak ass base rasegan now no way...Naruto in KM Mode with a much better rasegan couldn't best Obito

3. I'm just not seeing a regular rasegan penetrating through the raikages lighting armor...Sasuke chidori was able to penetrate it just because it was a piercing move that was also a lighting attack and it still caused the raikage no significant damage

He died young , we never got to see his full potential. But he is overrated on the base. Minato is not invincible fanboys! ! But he should be top 10 to 20 on everybody list. His speed and intellect alone is enough to beat most shinobi. His only weakness in my opinion is his lack of destructive power. Face it alot of other elite ninja could tank rasengan and smile. Overall top 10 ten to twenty for sure. If you say he is not your a hater.

Ah, you're correct. However, the ribcage leaves a big gap in the middle, leaving enough room for a FTG kunai. Minato has been shown to create a rasengan in a split second, against Obito. So Minato can substantially get past the ribcage...
