How can a guy be considered the strongest when all he has is super speed and Rasengan? I honestly believe Kishi overpowered him to the max.

I doubt that. I believe kishi made him a genius that is superb in tactics and speed, and also an inventor of rasengan. FANS, DIE HARD FANS, lol, over-hyped him.

He knows space/time techniques, which he combined with fuuinjutsu to create the Flying Thundergod technique and he created the Rasengan based on the TBB. This shows that he has got good observational skills and has a lot of creativity and skill. Both of these techniques are high-ranked skills and he was planning to even add his elemental nature to the Rasengan, which would have made an even stronger jutsu. He didn't succeed in that, however he did had the idea and he died very young, so in the case he didn't die so soon he might have succeeded in it.

This also indicates that Minato mastered at least one element, also in Konoha a jounin should normally already have mastered two elements, so it's highely likely Minato knew at least two elements.

Putting his FTG techinque aside he is naturally very fast, while the raikage needs his lightning armour.

If you say his overpowered, it's no different for all the other kage's and he's certainly not overrated.

If Minato is overrated then so are all the previous Kages, Loads of characters are receiving praise for their strength, intellect, techniques etc when we know very little about them.

If you think about it, the only major battle he has had with another shinobi is against Madara. He is also a character we have never really seen in action and made assumptions about his greatness.......Anyways If a overrated character is defeated then the character whom defeated him will eventually end up being overrated.

are u stupid or something, the 1st hokage defeated madara and ems and the kyubi. madara was way more powerful back then. if the 4th had to go up against madara and his ems and kyubi he would get raped. the 1st could control the kyubi the 4th cant he would of died eventually if he kept fighting the kyubi and there is no way he could defeat the kyubi by himself. he had to seal it. naruto in sage mode put up a way better fight and the 1st hokage is the best

Please be respectful of others' opinions. First's wife helped him by sealing the kyuubi just like Kushina tried to die with it (she wasn't strong enough to re-seal it at the time).

Madara 's control over Kyuubi was broken by Minato by putting a seal on him. He couldn't do it Hashirama way but, he had an ulternative. And he Rasenganed Madara. Put his mark on him and could follow him.

Rest of it just can be speculated. Madara could have ended up sealed in death reapers belly for all we know.
