Not everyone in the Uchia clan are geniuses, only a selected few were. Kakashi was consider a genius when Obito wasn't. Only Itachi, Sasuke, Shisui and Madara are really well known for their power and tactics so the other uchiha's weren't praised like the few I named. Minato has shown the best analyzing skills i've seen in the manga, able to tell a jutsu's strenght and weakness by seeing it once is really impressive. I do believe if Minato lived then he would be the strongest ninja in the current time line. Sage Mode with Ma and Pa toad would be OP.

and it was stated that the only one that can stop tobi is naruto when he fully control the power of the kyubi, but minato defeated tobi causing him to flee, and what itachi did to tobi? itachi become a bitch

Minato isn't arguably the strongest,any other shinobi who could have lived longer would logically have potential to refine his skills and become more powerful

Fanboy opinion without his dna he would be nothing at all. DNA determines almost everything if not everything in physical body: Stamina, Reflexes, Strength, Intelligence, Analytical Power.
As for Minato yes He's one of the most skilled Shinobi that died of an early age.

Why waste time posting about a character that is not even a main part of the story of Naruto? Hes only a building block and there's not even that much information about him in the manga for a reason. You can't just have a story about Naruto with out him having a bad ass father to show how Naruto has surpassed his predecessors. Yeah he might of had some good parts, but hes Not a main character. If he was alive right now he would be a main character and everyone would like him more than Naruto. Naruto is a all that is left of Minato. Thus, Minato can Not be developed cause the story NEEDS him to be dead to keep the manga called Naruto and not Minato.

this seems to be a Minato vs itachi thread well i believe that we dont know much about Minato to saw he can beat itachi or itachi can beat him after all he was chosen to be hokage at an early age for a reason and remember his teacher was jiraya and look at all of his students and also look at all the hokages they are all powerfull ninja and i watched an interview wtih kishi and he said the Minato iz the strongest hokage dead and that he will show more about him and the future so untill then i cant decide who would win
See you say that, yet Minato knew about the death of Jiriaya, Naruto's battle with Pain etc.
So surely, at we could at least incorporate the concept that Minato would have gained at least some knowledge from Naruto's battle's with and conversations about Itachi, no?
