so how do you think minato would outsmart sm kabuto and beat him? Kabuto cant heal in seconds so none of minato's attacks would do any good. Kabuto can simply liquify when hit by kunai and withstand rasengan.

I am not denying any of that. I am just saying his feats would become useless against some of the other characters.

Well there is a large problem about knowing his limits. We have no idea what his chakra is like. Take Oro or Tsunade for instance both are extremely durable but when too much damage is taken he sheds his skin and she turns on either CR or Byakougou. Because he base Rasengans are more powerful than base Naruto's (I believe in part because Naruto's chakra control still needs work) we can assume that Minato put more chakra into his. Which begs the question. How many could he use before he is at his limit. We know of no other Namikaze besides Naruto who is mixed with Uzumaki and has a Bijuu. So we can't gauge how long he would last. I don't remember where it was but Jiriaya said Tsunade is the reason Konoha won the 2nd ninja world war. And Minato changed the tide of the third. My point they are both powerful in different ways. He's going to have trouble against higher tier opponents but who wouldn't? That's why their high tier. His ftg rendered him stronger than Kakashi. His ftg against Gai has good chance of working but Gai with gates is pretty fast. However if the ftg combo hits him Gai is done with. And Gai isn't really smart. Which means he can beat the top jonnin in the leaf. But I can see Kurenai posing a problem as well. I don't really see him taking Naruto unless he's in Base and Naruto underestimates him. Against Tsunade even in Base we've seen her be extremely durable. Her mental fortitude is incredible. He runs into problems. There are certain enemies which present problems for him.

keep in mind his rasengan is bigger, his chakra is special and makes it green, and his rasengan is just overall more powerful than average, but i agree with you he has no rasenshuriken or amaterasu. That does not mean he is weak against alot of people

Sure the yellow flash is one of the fastest shinobis in Narutoverse. However, what he really lacks is a powerful move. So far from what we've seen the strongest weapons in his arsenal are his kunai and the rasengan. Meaning he can get behind his opponent in the blink of an eye and stab 'em with his kunai. This might be quite effective against some of the characters in Naruto. However, this puts Minato in a bad spot against the top tier naruto characters such as the kages, akatsuki members like orochimaru, itachi, pain and Madara Uchiha and Even Biiju Naruto. Rasengan, as we have seen, has been countered thousands of times in naruto. There are so many characters that can simply withstand it. For example, orochimaru can easily withstand a kunai attack or a rasengan thanks to his regenerative abilities. Minato can keep chopping him off all day but he will just keep coming out of his shells. Sage Kabuto is another character that will annihilate minato in terms of feats. Minato can rasengan him all day but he will just keep healing himself. Ninjutsu is useless against edo madara so minato will have to take him down with power moves. The problem is minato doesn't have any. Like he doesn't have any moves that will break the susanoo. Strength is a feat he seems to lack as well. Now I have no doubt in Minato's superior intellect and I can guarantee he will find a way to score a direct hit on any opponent. The only problem is that hit may not be enough to finish off some of the top rank shinobies. And that makes minato a weak match against them. Sure minato can defeat kakashi and the jonins of leaf village and even jiraiya(because he died cause of the chakra rod stab wound from pain minato can stab him too even in sage mode) with his speed. But against some characters with high defenses, hes just useless. Its a shame he had to die so early cause I am sure he would of perfected his rasengan and chakra affinity if he lived but the fact remains, Minato does not have a high power ninja move.

We don't know much about Minato’s true strength, power & ability so it's isn't safe to assume he is WEAKER or STRONGER dan any oders in the naruto world. But 2 things r 4 sure becoz Manga stated it, "Konoha were victorious during the 3rd Ninja War because of MINATO" & HOkage must know 1000 jutus's so spamming ftg & rasengan isn't his only options..

U don't nid powerful move to stop an edo, what u nid is an effective sealing technique.. & Minato was known to be very knowledgeable in this area.

Yeah but you can be sure that he has skill in the things he do. Remember Minato had his kunais thrown over at the enemies side of the field, and it was said he killed then before they could react so I don't think you can say he only has, if you know what I mean. Minato also saved Kakashi and Rin form alout of shinobis prob more than before and there where no kunais thrown around, and he still could defeated them all without a scrath. And if you read manga watch anime, and also watch the movies he is formidaple. But the games has pretty much ruind all of him but still that doesn't count as long that it isn't manga. :O

hey i have to say something if naruto's rasengan can take out many top ranked ninja's why can't minato? Also Minato's base rasengan is bigger than naruto's now if you add that with ftg thats getting hit by a powerful attack in the back where no1 can evade.

Tho i am a minato fan i do think if he vs susanoo it would be hard for him but would itachi or sasuke's susanoo really touch minato?

Who knows. He's never been shown to have actually needed a hugely OP move. His essentially Odama Rasengan and FTG has taken care of every enemy we've seen him fight.

LOL first off, tobi is nothing but a clone who has some sort of irregular shape. Some sort of liquids were coming out of his body when he got hit by the rasengan.(from the anime)
