No arsenal of jutsu? We've seen him in like 2 fights, each of which lasted all of 20 seconds. Not much time to make a claim like that, especially when he's a Kage. xd However, he did use like 8 techniques, which is pretty good for a dead character we've rarely seen.

Let's face it, there's just no way that Itachi would'nt instantly pwn him. I mean how could you expect a once in a generation genius who even had knowledge of Madara Uchiha to possibly know that the sharingan can cast genjutsu if you look into it. Because that would be completely impossible.

No.Kishi just wanted to show that he's similar to Naruto.I find his arsenal really boring.He fought the best opponent he could meet and he used the best techniques he probably knew.

Similar to Naruto? Aside from Rasengan, he showed nothing similar to him. He uses Spacetime techniques and Fuinjutsu as his methods of attack and defense while Naruto's a brawler and is unpredictable.
