most likely you are correct. But i want to point out some flaws in your theory. For one, minato sealed half of a chakra beast, he wasnt like hiruzen who actually sealed souls. Also we have no idea if it is possible to be a jinchuriki to someone, or their soul.
Simply half chakra is different than a soul.
Im not saying your wrong, just stateing that there are flaws. And it is possible you may be wrong.
Only time will tell, if you are right or wrong. All i wanted to point out is there is still logical ways for your theory to be wrong. Look at all the people who said there was no way to undo rds....they boldly said it cant happen....and they were wrong. So try not to think in absolutes.
(ps, i agree that it is unlikely that minato is a jin of the yin chakra. And even if he is, it is unlikely that he can use it.
