Minato did more for the village than Itachi

Itachi did stop edo, But rly madarra was the only big threat when he did, Most of the other edos were subdued. I don't think he's a hero for that.

Well minato was a kage and it is his job to protect the village but that doesn't mean when he sacrafices himself to do it, he's not a hero. Itachi would have capurted naruto when he was young if he had the chance and it was naruto with minato's help that saved konoha.

lolzz u r soo dumb u still dont get it even 3rd hokage died protecting village just like minato ,,soo that means he is a hero too the main point both minato and 3rd are respected and treated as hero after there death and as a kage they done there job but itachi is just a common man who saved village still village hated him but yet again he never went wrong path he keep on saving village even people call him traitor soo u get what i am saying ...

more over if its just madara then why 5 kages beat to pulp ,, if 5 kages are soo weak against madara so do other fodders >>> saving village from a fox .

Both Itachi and Minato are hero for the leaf.
Itachi is like Nameless hero, people know him as criminal, they didnt know that he stop the coup and save the village.
Minato is great hero, he stop the kyubbi and seal it, he is hokage who save the village.

Look, I'm not going to bother arguing with somone who will not read what I have posted before. I'm hearing the same argument from you that I have heard from many, many people before and have countered. Read my previous thread and this thread properly.

So what the 3rd and minato were both heros. What Itachi did was not good enough compared to their feats. Just because he's a citizen and is not expected to help, doesn't mean I'll lower the bar on what I consider a hero to be.

I think we all need to realize that both Characters contributed and saved konoha from destruction. This was there duty and they did it admirably. Minato Served as the hokage and did everything he could to save the village and his family from Tobi.

Itachi even though thought to be a villan, was actually doing everything to his best ability to keep the village from destruction from some of the most powerful dudes in the narutoverse. While protecting his little brother. He regretting having to kill the clan you could see that when he was crying before he murdered his parents.

Both these characters died doing what they believed in and protecting there most precious things in there life.

He stopped those edo's from causing anymore problems. He also got Kabuto stuck in a genjutsu possibly forever until he finds himself. He took a powerful opponent out of the battle temporarily so the allied forces can regroup.

what are you talking about? the edos don't need to get sealed now.. the technique is over.. their souls are returning to the pure world.. Which is why the giant light is shooting into the skies...


NOONE could have defeated edo madara.. he was about to kill the 5 kage.. and would have went on to help tobi kill naruto...
Both of them would have easily gotten the bijuu, And mugen tsukyomi would have happened...

Muu and kimmimaro were just extras in the equation..
Him ending edo tensei saved the world...
