Damnit, this debate never ends.

I think Itachi would have a 55% chance of winning, Minato would have a 45% chance.
Both can quite easily kill the other. I'd say they were equals, but Itachi has much more advantages in combat (via genjutsu and Susano'o), hence the higher percentage.

minato wins he knows not to look him in the eyes and I'm sure he knows about finger genjutsu he was a powerful and intelligent man. amaterasu isn't touching him and he just has to outlast susanoo or teleport it to the bottom of an ocean. I like itachi and its stupid people gotta love one and hate the other. itachi is mostly blind and very sick he can't use most of his disease acting up leaving him weakened minato will take advantage of this temporary loss of itachis focus.

I always try to stay as neutral as possible in order to not look like a fanboy,, but when i see fanboys like this attempting to troll... it's making the fanboy inside me come out.

Minato wont get a kunai near Itachi, as Itachi is the best Kunai user of the manga.

Minato gets wrecked by genjutsu

Summons you say? the **** are summons going to do ? they will get genjutsud and will be forced to attack Minato, or they will get Amaterasu'd. Summons are the useless **** against an Uchiha.

If Minato is so smart and doesnt look lat Itachi's eyes like people say, then he gets **** on by Amaterasu as he wont know its coming like Raikage did.

Minato gets fodderised by the fact that Itachi is too good with kunais.... he will be teleporting all over the place without being able to land a **** cause his offensive power relies on one damn jutsu. If that jutsu is countered than he nothing but a fodder compared to someone who TRULY is versatile by the great use of MANY jutsu.

Minato is nothing but a fly buzzing arround you if he cant get Kunais to land in the right place.

Itachi wins.

Genjutsu, chiefly Tsukuyomi, will end this fight. Minato doesn't know about finger Genjutsu either; Itachi can stimulate reality perfectly in this Genjutsu, and then Shunshin to Minato and kill him while he's still inside the Genjutsu which he thinks is real.

• Tsukuyomi can only be countered by Uchihas.
• Kakashi commented Itachi's Tsukuyomi could have ended him if he wanted Kakashi to die.
• Tsukuyomi is instant. Minato isn't breaking out of it.
• Partner method doesn't work against Tsukuyomi.

Minato is powerful, but people stretch what little he has and say he can beat people like Itachi. He can, it's just Itachi has the better cards and is the clear favourite here.​
