Minato could prevent the Uchiha massacre

I have been bothered by this over and over. Minato did think that he needed to tell Hiruzen about, what happened, and who was behind the fox attack. But yet he didn't?

He did manage to tell a frog key to store himself with Jiraya though. This is odd, why didn't he tell it shortly about Madara (Obito)?

This could have prevented the higher opp's for getting suspicious about the Uchiha clan, and they wouldn't have wanted to stage a coup.

I know the answer is plot, but still :sy:

Still it's 2 seconds max to say that extra. He said first: "Store yourself with Jiraya" "and tell him it was Madara who did it"
This was more important than letting Kushina tell so much to Naruto, which he didn't understand anyway...

Rofl, he was probably out of chakra at the time though, so he couldn't jump to Hiru..

If you're suggesting he COULD have warned Hiruzen about the massacre...I'm fairly confident he had other things to worry about.

Hell, I'm not even sure the Fox was originally planned to be controlled. Much less the reason for increased suspicion towards the Uchiha.

Itachi knew Madara (well Obito in the guise of Madara) was alive before the clan massacre and he seems to have deduced that he was responsible for the 9 tails attack (he tells Sasuke this), why didnt he inform the 3rd/elders? Logic and plot are generally mutually exclusive in this manga.
