However this doesn't mean that he can beat itachi

In real life Tsukuyomi is instant. But in "Tsukiyomi's world" that quick moment can last an eternity. Itachi's blink was enough for Kakashi suffer during three days inside Tsukuyomi, because the sharingan user can control time and Space inside that world.

No it wouldn't be over, people don't get damaged physicalphysically from genjutsu, minato will only be damaged mentally which can be endured by him

And in the later part 2 both chiyo and jexplained that any type of genjutsu can be broken by sending chakra to the victim so as much as I hate to say it thay panel is useless
