Re: Minato Can Beat Itachi
once again +rep! question. 1 way minato can win is by using seals that u can't see. aka seal he put on a tree he went by etc. do u think his ability to do this would give him an advantage? also do u wish the OP would have given more info on which itachi this is. pre illness, edo, semi blind, etc
Lmao this thread never gets old does it?. Seems like its a cycle, a couple of weeks ago it was hashirama vs hiruzen. Then last wek hashirama/madara vs nagato and it seems its returned to the good old itachi vs minato.
Not going to waste much time here too long. First things first is genjutsu and by this im not talking about paralysis genjutsu that itachi wields like Magen Kasegui no Jutsu, nor am i talking about a match winning genjutsu like tsukuyomi. Im talking about genjutsu that doesnt require eye contact like dusk crow genjutsu or Utakata (also known as finger genjutsu), could be a decider, if minato doesnt realise that he is in an illusion.
Secondly paralysis genjutsu is harder to release because the clue is in the name. Its this same genjutsu that madara used on A, for onoki to release the technique and protect him with an earth release technique. Its better to be a master illusionist than a master of speed. With genjutsu alone madara took away A's speed and if onoki wasnt there to save him, A is history.
Secondly is the ability that the sharingan grants. It allows the user to a degree predict what attack a ninja is about to use. Kakashi used this to great effect against zabuza in part 1 when he in fact produced the Suiton Suirydan no Jutsu tchnique even before zabuza. Itachi had already shown this feat when he predicted kabuto's next move which was the surpisingly enough was the same technique Suiton Suiryudan no Jutsu.
Even without the shairgan kabuto has noted that itachi can to a degree read his opponents and anticipate their attacks and if anything this ability gives him an advantage over a lot of opponents, lets a lone an opponent who requires seals to teleport, the seals are stationary. Its not hard to grasp the idea that itachi will early on figure out that minato teleports near his seals and with this will take advantage of it.
Final thing that most people forget is handseals, how fast you can form seals. Itachi has the fastest in the series, neither kakashi/sasuke who both wield the 3 tomoe sharingan were able to read. With such handseals who has been able to counter every last 1 of sasuke's shurikens whilst preparing tsukuyomi and created a karasu bunshin in that scenario alone. Previously he as able to throw shurikens as a decoy whilst at the same time try to hit kakashi's let with Suiton Suigadan and created a kage bunshin all in 1 move.
What im saying is that 1 attack, minato might be able to evade. Life gets tricky when he has to evade 3 or more attacks that itachi can create in 1 move, but also there is an unpredicatbility about his moves because minato will not only not be able to see it the true unpredictably lies withint the attack. For example when against kakashi when he used the kage bunshin, it wasnt an ordinary kage bunshin which later exploded; Bunshin Daibakuha. Then there are karasu bunshin clones which might at first seem like kage bunshin but when hit they disperse into a flock of crows and at itachi's command can make them blind the opponent. Its this strategy that allowed itachi to cut kabuto's horn off.
Then there is the whole fighting style. Its not very hard to understand that a ninja who has never used a strategy before will have trouble fighting. In fact to my knwoeldge its only gai who has been said to train to fight sharingan user's without eye contact, but even his strategy fails when it comes to itachi
