why do people say obito beat minato when minato nearly killed tobi (Obito) but he teleported him self?

the kyuubi didn't real kill him because he was going to sacrifice him self in the first place.Because Minato died to Kyubi.

Obito failed miserably...
Lost his own fight (Minato totally owned him)
Lost his purpose for coming to Konoha (neither he could destroy Konoha nor he was able to retrieve Kurama from the village)...
So, in my PoV... That's one of the biggest defeats in manga...

Who summoned Kurama? Obito did
Who did Kuruma kill? Minato and Kushina
If Obito never summoned Kurama then Minato never would of died

If anybody is to be credited from the whole thing, it would be obito...He was leagues above any other 13 year old ever seen in the manga. But in reply to OT: no obito didnt kill Minato...thats 9 tails feat.
Who says that? Minato was obviously the winner, Obito did cause his death though
The Kyuubi did kill him, its like if I was going to die from cancer and then someone shot me in the head, I died from the gunshot lol

Minato ended up dying not to kurama killing him but to betting the future on Naruto. So if you guys want to play the indirect death game then Minato wins when Naruto Wins .

That what im saying...that event is not Minato's glory but Obito's. Minato soloed but Obito endured and is still alive now.
As a shinobi, minato failed in this scenario.

Quite opposite...
1- It wasn't Obito's skill or something, just fate and luck...
2- Minato actually succeeded as a shinobi but failed as a hero of many fans...
People can't realise the fact that Minato died because he intrusted future to Naruto.
And it's Minato's work that now Naruto is in BM and can protect all shinobi.
And I think that nobody in manga could handle situation as effective as Minato.

Minato clearly beat Obito one on one, but because he died to KARUMA, not obito some poeple think he was defeated by Obito, who lost control of Karuma, by the time the Kyubi killed minato.
