Minato and Itachi resemblance.

Im sure a lot of people knows and are fans of these characters, but i cant help to notice they have a lot in common, they are both geniuses, both gave their lifes for their respective most loved person. Both are Martyr of their cause, and both excell in almost every way, the only difference i find is that one was hokage and became the light of konoha and the other one was the same light protecting konoha but from the darkness remained unknown and then exiled, both pacifist, one the inspiration of Naruto, the other the goal of Sasuke, main protagonists persons to focus on. What do you guys think, i think kishimoto created these characters to be alike.

Although the personality differs, both were very strong. It would be awesome if they actually showed some more of Minato.

Yeah, i think the same way, Itachi was way too mature in his teen years, both will of fire incarnate, both had/have faith in Naruto, the perfect way of the shinobi.

Naruto came close to dying several times. Minato was nowhere to save him. All he did was save him from Tobi and seal the most powerful beast into him so that one day, Naruto would be super OP and bring peace. Which he assumed because Jiraiya told him about the prophecy.

Itachi spared Sasuke, protected him from the elders and made him stronger, just saved Naruto and Bee, protected the Leaf from Akatsuki as long as he could, is helping them right now with the war; that's more than saving Sasuke. He did fail his mission in a way but so did Minato. He failed to stop Tobi the 1st time he met him. All this would not have happened if he did.

Kishimoto labeled Itachi as a hero.

When someone has the heart to kill his family in order to save the village and go being hated all his life and having to join a criminal organization to cover it up, he's a hero.

Jiraiya and Minato are the kind of heroes people want, Itachi is the kind of hero people need.

He let Tobi escape. I know there wasn't much he can do but Tobi did, in fact, escape. He then proceeded to take care of the 9-Tails by himself even though the whole village was behind him. At least he could've warned them of Tobi.

regardless of what they gave him they succeeded and minato might of failed to kill madara but come on dude he was only saving naruto and kushina and the leave village he did not have time to defeat madara he did wut he could and succeeded

Minato is a happy go lucky likeable character like Naruto but older and Mature And who happened to be a genious and had FTG and was Hokage. Minato died doing his job

Itachi was a calm and mysterious character who was a genious as well. Like said warlier that he shattered his reputation by killing all Uchihas to save lives
And war. He died so that his younger brother could fullfil title of the Uchiha successor.

They both cared deeply for the village.

Itachi or Minato As The better Konoha hero?
I go with Itachi.
