the point is they're both good shinobi, we all can acknowledge that. But there also isnt a need to overestimate neither of them, thus making ridiculous assumptions for or against them.

They are not both failures they are two of the strongest and most legendary (most accomplished in some senses) in the entire Naruto universe.
