The only one I'm mad at is myself for not having the power to protect my family.
Basic Information  Name: Mikaela Hyakuya | 百夜ミカエラ Nickname: Mika | Mika Ver Leth | The Seraph of the End Gender: Male Age: 16 Clan: Dark Release Looks Mika has medium-length curly blond hair and blue eyes. As a young boy, he wore the standard rags and had the general appearance one would expect to be seen on a child in the slave trade. In the present, he is a city guard of Amegakure and as such wears the standard uniform like other soldiers with boots reaching up his thighs. He has a gold decoration on the front with blue gems. A pair of straps go around his hips, forming an X. His shoulder and neck pieces have numerous straps tying them together, and a black collar holds them to his neck. He has a white cape that reaches his upper thighs. The outfit is quite form-fitting, with the exception of the cape. Mika also carries a sword with a decorated hilt that lies in a sheathe strapped to his left hip on the belt when not in use. The blade is a light shade of red. Personality As a child, Mika was kind and upbeat in spite of the harsh environment that surrounded him most of his life. He was able to keep smiling and be happy because of his adopted family he met at the orphanage and stayed with during his time in slavery, and even managed to befriend the extremely stubborn Yu. Mika is also cunning, having allowed his masters to request special favours of him in exchange for somewhat better food, when his real purpose was to retrieve a map to escape with the other children. However, after a series of events, he became self-loathing and moody. Mika is a pale shadow of his former self. He never smiles and always looks unhappy. He is a loner and only has real conversations with his Ame comrades, which even then is rare due to his habits and personality. He rushes into battle without caring about glory. While fighting, Mika maintains a cold expression and has been described as overwhelmingly arrogant but powerful in fights by few. Mika blames himself for the death of his family, which is the cause of his drastic change in personality. Despite the latter's attempts to shut out Mika, Mika remained ..........persistent and continued to reach out to Yuu. Eventually, they get into an argument. After ..........which, they did not speak for a few days. During meal time, Mika approached Yuu once ..........again. Having finally convinced Yuu to embrace the fellow orphans as his family, Mika ..........walked back to the main room to eat with him to eat with the others. However, slave traders ..........raided the orphanage and killed all the adults, taking only the children with them. ..........A few years later, at the age of 12, Mika and his other companions were living under the ..........harsh conditions of slavery, barely getting by with the rations they were provided. It wasn't ..........long before Mika and Yuu began plotting to escape the slave traders with their friends as ..........well. Eventually, Mika was able to obtain a map that detailed the area the slave traders were ..........stationed in and rushed in an attempt to escape with Yuu and the other orphans under the ..........cover of night. However, just before they were able to escape, one of the guards managed to ..........intercept the group. In the few moments that followed, Mika and Yuu watched as their ..........friends were slaughtered before their eyes. In an attempt to distract the guard so that Yuu ..........could escape, Mika rushed the man. However, the distraction was short-lived, as Mika was ..........horribly injured. However, Yuu had escaped due to Mika's rebellion. With this, Mika could ..........die in peace knowing that his friend had escaped. However, the other slave traders arrived ..........on the scene quickly and gave Mika first aid, preventing immediate danger to his life. Feeling ..........extreme guilt for the massacre of his friends, combined with the notion that he forced his ..........friend to abandon him and risk being lonely for the rest of his life, Mika's personality ..........changed drastically. On top of this, he developed a hatred for the slave traders that kept him ..........hidden away from the world as a slave. ..........After 4 years, Mika eventually rebelled once again against his masters. It wasn't long before ..........they were no longer his master, for he had slaughtered them all swiftly. Feeling a hint of ..........regret for not making them suffer as his friends did, Mika left the hell-hole he spent his ..........childhood caged up in, and wandered the countryside. He eventually travelled to the Land of ............................................................Rain, becoming a guard ninja at the village of Amegakure.
