I'm sure if that was the case, you wouldn't have any problem providing a reasonable evidence that puts Shanks above Mihawk.
Mihawk is the superior one for the reasons people have already mentioned.
It was more than one person and everything you guys have presented have been refuted. Seems to me that your side is the one that is assuming a lot of things. Looking at it from a non bias perspective, there is no way in hell one could say Shanks could be stronger with what we know.

I assumed next to nothing, you on the other hand assumed that Shanks uses fighting styles other than swordsmanship (yet to even be hinted at, let alone seen).
You're simply a bias person. I was coming from a neutral perspective, I prefer Shanks to Mihawk, but I don't defend my favorite characters even if they're weaker unlike you , which seems to be the only reason you came onto this thread. And because you were fighting an uphill battle (along with the rest of your "comrades") you couldn't provide any evidence and was simply beat down. Simple really.

Everything I can see in u r posts is nothing but repeating the same thing in a 100 ways " Mihawk is the worlds strongest man thus he is stronger than Shanks since shanks uses a sword".....

Because it was the argument which they couldn't counter. They know they couldn't. We proved Shanks is a swordsman. That is the only argument they had to prove Shanks can be stronger than Mihawk (their argument was the idiotic assumption of thinking Shanks isn't a swordsman).

Shanks is Obviously a skilled Swordsman & Mihawk > Shanks as a swordsman based on that statement but we can't say that he is just a swords man ..Kizaru always fights by usng his DF but while facing Dark King he suddenly pulled a skilled SM out of nowhere , like this shanks might pull something ..who knws.?
Replace Shanks sword with another weapon like WB's weapon ...can u say that Shanks can't fight properly with that thing..?

If he is a sowrdsman then Dark king is also a swords and Roger is the strongest of thire crew..does that mean Roger is the best SM of that time right..?
IF he not a SM then if he fought Dark king with a sword (not a swords man vs Swords man, uses sword just as a weapon)..who do u think would win...?
ROger uses guns as well as Swords means that he has considerable skill to use them both but still he is not the best, they are just one of the ways that involves in Rogers fighting style ...
Like this^^^ we can't judge Shanks either ..we still don't knw wether shanks is a pure swords man or can do something more I mean we dont'' knw wether he is just a SM or SM is one of his fighting styles and he can use dif kind of methods to fight...

Roger is irrelevant in this.
If Shanks JR has two swords, has only ever been shown to fight with a sword it's clear he is devoted in the art of using a sword for combat ; a swordsman. There isn't even one single scan in which Shanks has a weapon on a holster or on a belt other than a sword.
Simple really. Shanks is a swordsman and since Mihawk is the one who holds the title of being the WSS the top two swordsman IN THIS ORDER:
1. Dracule Mihawk
2. Shanks
