After taking his leave from Capcom the creator of Megaman Keiji Inafune has now begun his own project, Mighty No. 9. It's going to be a modern "2D" side scrolling game for PC (for now).

On August 31st Keiji posted his Kickstarter for Mighty No.9 with a set cap of 900,000. If funds do not reach 900,000 by the first of October the project will be discontinued. As of today, September 2nd, funds have reached 1,062,508 and are still climbing.
