Unfortunately, Guy wins. Kimimaro didn't get the chance to improve so he is still as strong as he was when he died.

Im not sure, especially if kimimaro is at full health.
His bone manipulation would make life hard for a taijutsu user, combined with his cm2 he actually stands a good chance of winning

You can't fight Kimimaro with plain taijutsu when he fully defends his body with bone so Guy would need to open the gates but kimimaro also has the full power of the curse mark like Sasuke did. I think it would be a much better fight than when he fought Lee especially if he is not effected by the illness that caused him to lose to both Gaara and Lee.

I guess that's true, if it were not for his illness he would have beaten Lee and Gaara.

I think at full power Kimimaru could take guys beating in 7 gates and come back and kill guy, when guy is exhausted.

Well I don't know about that. Guy is much stronger than Lee, and with seven gates, he might be too much for Kimimaro. Especially since Kimimaro hasn't had the chance to get stronger.

A weakened kisame did. Kimimiro's bone manipulation should provide him with a form of defence. Gai could actually do himself more harm than good

Gaara used his most powerful crushing ability and he couldn't kill Kimimaru... enough said. The afternoon tiger was just a big gust of air, and Kimimaru can defend and attack with his bones while guy hits him... plus his bones are almost indestructible. He can cushion blows and repair them as well. I think Kimimaru would def win this one. Lee opened the gates and failed to hit Kimimaru with his primary lotus

Interesting indeed. If it wasn't for his ilness Kimimaro would've killed both Gaara and Lee. And if Lee hadn't interrupt Naruto, too.
He has 5 points in Taijutsu, 3 in Strength and 4.5 in Speed - skills that are essential in the most cases to stand a chance against Gai. In addition he has a pretty good stamina. But those are said to be his skills without Juin - when he's in the second stage, his power boosts even more.
Kimimaro is more than just robust. Fighting him on close range is more than just dangerous since he can let bones shoot out of his body anytime. It's like fighting a huge hedgehog with spikes harder than steel. Even without beeing in stage two Gaara's Sabaku Soso couldn't kill him, since he put a layer of bones directly under his skin. But on stage two that wasn't even necessary - Sabaku Soso couldn't put a scratch on him, even though he was covered by 200 meters of sand. Now that I think about it he's almost like the third Raikage , whose body was said to be as hard as steel. I can't really see Guy hurting him deadly.

Kimmimaro's most powerful bone technique couldn't penetrate Gaara's greatest defense even with his bones at their hardest and in CM2 mode. A 7 Gates punch would be much more destructive that.

Kimimaru skills are consider near the Jounin or at the Jounin level. His relation with Orochimaru and clan in the Water Country proves he is a skilled ninja. Might Guy might be skilled in Taijutsu, but Kimimaru skills surpass that with his KG and Curse Mark.

Kimimaro, dare i say easily. he's the best taijutsu user shown so far, his bones withstand any physical attack, he can protude bones from his body ie injure anyone attacking him, and even when his body shut down he was still as persistent and durable as kisame or naruto, perhaps even more so. guy would be forced to use the gates which are self-damaging, and kimimaro can survive afternoon tiger and morning peacock for sure, a weakened kisame wasn't even knocked out by them. his final dance is probably undodgeable also.
