Midnight Island

It is said that the Midnight Island was splintered off from the great cleaving that Marduk caused after he struck Tiamat with Imhullu. Since then it has been nourished by a powerful force, creating an almost isolated world separate from the rest of civilization.

Midnight Island is a very hot and brooding place, characterized by thick, almost jungle-like forest, humid air thick with insects and streams of brackish water. It is both a rich flora and fauna that occupies the island, but much of it is either toxic, aggressive, inedible, or somehow all three. The few human inhabitants are extremely distrustful of foreigners and use an odd combination of rudimentary Fūinjutsu and Taijutsu to attack anyone who dares come close to their island. As a result, little is known about the depths of Midnight Island.

This isolationist nature meant that in the wake of the Cataclysm, the unknown tribes on Midnight were hit particularly hard, but they are a hardy bunch, and still survive to this day.

Geets and Boit continue on, he was getting close to full health. With every stop, it seemed the NE flowing thru him got him closer to 100%, and he was ready for a rematch. He decides to reactivate his Byakugan and also activate a seal across his neck..

(Fuuinjutsu: Anmoku no jikkō) Sealing Arts: Unspoken Execution
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30 (-10 per per turn)
Damage: N/a
Description: Anmoku no jikkō is a sealing technique created by Uzumaki's who needed a counter to foes with sensing abilities. The seal lays dormant horizontally across the neck, and is activated with the user's chakra being focused into the seal. Kanji for the seal then appears before swiftly emitting a chakra barrier shaped like a sphere that emcompasses short range around the user. This barrier is linked to the seal and has the special ability to erase the chakra signature of the seal's vessel while inside its dimensions. With its signature now erased, this technique acts as an advanced chakra suppressant that hides the user's chakra from all forms of chakra sensing, whether it be directly from the body or from an outside source. Opponent's with sensing will now have to rely on their basic, or in some cases above average, five senses as they continue the battle while in this realm. For example; Inuzuka's would have no problem using their nose, while Uchihas would be unable to see the user's chakra, but still uses the advanced reaction speed that comes with the current level of their eyes. The barrier moves with the seal as its epicenter while only lasting for a limited time.

NOTES
►Usable 2x per battle
►Lasts for 4 turns upon activation
►Has a 2 turn cooldown
►Can only be taught by ZandaT

(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 (-5 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description: One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans, inherited from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, shinobi with have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters and Otsutsuki clan members will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. Not only can they see chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu (even of their own). Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if they're a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot; slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away.
Note: For Hyugas, activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil
Note: Hyugas must be activated to use Gentle Fist (Jyuken)
Note: Its tracking abilities are equal to that of 3 Tomoe Sharingan.
Note: Only Hyugas possess the ability to utilize Jyuken, However, all Otsutsuki clan members possess the ability of passive activation.

Story elements chosen:

- Set up a secure camp (2)
- Reveal history of my character, future goals and begin it's intro into the new era (2)

Summary: This will be the intro of the dark mage into the ninja world, setting up his base, his backstory, and what he aims to do in the future.

The Dark Mage (reskin awaiting approval)

He had wandered the earth for many years, aimlessly, just existing, going each day with no purpose, yet for the first time in 20 years, he had a goal, a dream, all that had led him to this moment, his ship sailing up to this island, one shrouded in mystery yet he felt drawn to it. As he approached, he could feel the heat, the muggy moisture in the air, a unique island to say the least. With his eyes he could see movement in in the thick forest that covered the island like a jungle. Yes this would do, this would be where his plan's would begin. His small sail boat drifted only the short beach where he climbed out of it. He didn't mean to leave here any time soon and if all went to plan, it wouldn't be this small boat that he needed. Stepping ashore, he looked around. He knew out in the open like this nothing would happen, so it was time to delve into this landmark.

He made his way through the thick bushes that lined the forest, the air within felt thick in itself, why would anyone choose to live here? But he knew they did, a small populace that didn't like intruders so the rumors went. With his eyes he could see the movement, even though they were fast, he saw it. Now it was just a waiting game. Leaving himself out in the open waiting for them. From the way he had lived his life, he wasn't scared, nor did he have any worries. In that moment, Zeref was cast back to a time long ago. He was only about 15 years old, trying to find Natsu in the forest, following the path that led by a river. Along the way and he saw someone lying on the floor ahead, he began to quicken his pace and as he got closer the figure came into view, someone he knew well, it was Natsu. breaking into a sprint, he was by his brothers side holding him. He wasn't moving. He wasn't breathing, Zeref tried everything he could, but nothing seem to work. He was scared, he pannicked, it began to rain, he had failed as a brother. Anger and grief filled his body as something changed inside him, his eyes felt different and a demonic gateway opened, a few moments later, Natsu was breathing once more. That was the day Zeref unlocked the powers of his Rinnegan, the day he became cursed. Natsu got up and made a comment about zerefs eyes but seemed completely fine, he got up and ran off back towards their village.

Zeref suddenly snapped back to reality as a man leapt towards him with his fist drawn back, a seal formed on it ready to strike Zeref in the face. Before he could strike, the man stopped in his tracks falling to the floor, sweat down his face, trying to move bt couldn't, he was in shock. Alls that stood out, Zeref's eyes.

The man was struck with fear. He tried crying out to those who must of been close, probably asking for help from his allies, the fear making him panic, all from one look. From around him several figures moved, leaping toward's zeref, strength in numbers. What a joke. they all aimed to strike in sync, but hit with a force they couldn't see, blasted backwards on all sides. Bodies sent in all directions, some hitting the tree's they'd been hid behind others send sliding through the ground, just bodies lining the floor. Releasing his technique Zeref now looked down on the first man that had tried to strike him.

"How could you think to comprehend someone with just your fists. You're lucky i'm in a good mood, try your luck again... and i wont be so forgiving...."

As he spoke he stepped past the man on the ground. They had their warning, and their lives, more than most had recieved from the dark mage. The day he had brought Natsu back was the day he'd unlocked the powers of the six paths which has since consumed his life. Anyone he got close to, connected with, these powers would consume them, a blessing of power and curse on his life. He had long since wandered, aimlessly, lonely, trying to avoid people to not form bonds, fading out of existence. Having done this for many years, he felt it was his destiny, but as he stood in the background he watched the way of the world. Alls it was, was an era of wars, clans fighting clans for power, land, aiming to take control. It was a time of greed where the strong ruled. It was unbearable. Zeref couldn't do this any longer. It was time to make his move. He needed somewhere, a place where he could be left to work, a place to plan and a place to change the future of the world. A new world would be born, one without chaos and wars, he wanted a world to unite against a common enemy. He would make this happen one way or another. he would form his own group, gather strong allies and force the world to come together to survive, or die alone. Either way was fine with him.

Walking on through the forest, no one pursued him, they were scared, they couldn't comprehend what had just happened. Just as he thought. He made his way forth to the center of the island, where the tree mass was at it's thickest. Reaching the point he aimed for, he now stopped. Alone. They were too scared to follow, just as he wanted. Finding the largest tree he walked over and pulled out a scroll out of his cloak, one he's prepared. Now laying it down, he performed a couple of hand seals and placed his hand down on what looked like a map. The very earth began to shake, vibrate as though it had come to life. Birds scattered in the trees above out of fear. Moments later the moving stopped as as the ground in front of the tree opened up revealing a passageway going underground. He held out his hand as a flame formed, lighting his way, he walked down through the tunnel that spiraled into the earth. He knew he was reaching the end as it was his creation, when he was just about at the location he predicted, the tunnel opened up into a large room. It lit up as his flame flickered in his hand. This would be just what he needed, a place to begin his operations.

He allowed his flame to die out in his hand, pulling out another scroll, and placed his hand on it to perform a summoning. He Created the flame once more to reveal what he had summoned. A metal table lay there with various things on, some books, some scrolls, but what he reached for was the lanterns, he held his hand to the lantern and lit it, and lighting several others, before placing them around the room, casting an orange glow to his new hideout. With his scroll now he summoned forth several items before completely setting up his room.

He walked up the steps he'd created with his map and sat on his new throne and rested. This remote island would serve as his new place of residence while he experimented with a few skills of his own in solitude. After his encounter with the natives, he was sure they wouldn't dare come here any time soon. Not only that but they rejected all intruders and so they wouldn't give away the information that Zeref had arrived here, all a great plan on Zeref's part. Now, just in case he would have to make this place secure. Zeref had set up a few bits for this already. The age today was one of technology with tv screens and such being common things in the larger villages and groups. Zeref had aquired some of these items and sealed them away in a scroll, bringing them here for one purpose, he set up several security cameras, leaving one on the tree at the main entrance to war him of anyone's approach.

With all this in place his basic camp was set up, a place to start his goals. The next stage of his operations would be a form of recruitment, yet he was unsure how to go about this. Before he could do that he would have to experiment with a few of his own techniques, create some defenses and prepare himself. This would take time, but now he would rest. Regain the strength from the efforts of today to be ready for his next mission.

Jutsu Used:
( Doujutsu: Rinnegan ) Eye Technique: Samsara Eye - passive
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: N/A ( -5 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: One of the 3 great Doujutsu, the Rinnegan has, like the other, the ability to see chakra and the chakra flow of individuals. It also allows the user a great clarity of perception and tracking abilities, although its levels vary from user to user. Dispicted as the eyes of the SO6P, the Rinnegan awaken on Madara Uchiha after he obtained his EMS and implanted Hashirama's Senju cells in himself. Having both lineage from the SO6P allowed him to awake the Rinnegan. When Madara activates the Rinnegan, he seems to not suffer any kind decrease in his EMS abilities in terms of tracking speed, clarity of perception or seeing chakra. Eventually his eyes were bestowed upon Nagato Uzumaki and in him manifested lower abilities (equal or comparable to a 3 Tomoe Sharingan). While Nagato was never able to deactivate his eyes, Madara could switch at will between his EMS and Rinnegan eyes, although he wasn't able to go from 3 Tomoe to Rinnegan directly. Eventually Obito transplanted Nagato's (and subsequently Madara's) Left Rinnegan into himself. By doing so he gained access to both Doujutsu at the same time although losing the ability to deactivate the Rinnegan and as such, losing chakra constantly to maintain it.
Note: Constantly passively active in Nagato and Obito bios
Note: Requires activation ( spending move ) for Madara bios but remains active indefinetely afterwards if the user chooses to. After having a complete Madara bio with Rinnegan for 1 month, user becomes able to switch between both doujutsu without spending a move. User needs to have activated EMS before and had it active for 1 full turn.

(Sakki) - Killing Intent
Rank: D - S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: N/A
Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.
Note: Intensity of technique depends on the rank of the user, distance to target and number of targets one is focusing on
Note: Can only be used once
Note: Lasts only while the user is focusing on it and while focusing on it the user can't mold chakra

( Shinra Tensei ) - Divine Punishment
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40 ( +20 per extra range )
Damage: N/A
Description: Using the Deva Paths abilities to manipulate gravitational forces, the user will repulse and push away anything around him up to a given range, in all directions, producing an omni-repulsion effect. The force and repulsive effect is absolute, affecting both energy and matter alike. The technique itself can be used with different ranges/sizes, depending on how much chakra the user spends for the technique and can even, in its smaller form, be sustained, forming a static defensive field instead of a wave-like effect.
Shōkibo - Small Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to short range. The offensive power in this size is not that high as it hits opponents but can still do severe damage. It isn't, however, fatal, boasting a physical 40 damage. If the user focuses this ability with the help of his hands he can sustain a defensive absolute repulsive field around him. He can't, however, do any technique while he is sustaining it and he can only sustain it for 2 turns. Once used, takes one turn cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.
Chūkibo - Medium Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to mid range. The offensive power in this size is severe, sending opponents flying backwards with enough force to, if not defended properly, leave near fatal physical damage. Although not directly fatal, the technique boasts a physical damage of 80. If the user focuses this ability through one or both hands, he can push away a specific target or technique alone, instead of producing the normal omni-repulsive wave. Once used, takes 2 turns cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.
Ōkibo - Large Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to long range. The offensive power of the technique is devastating and anything in its path that doesn't manage to defend properly is left obliterated. Its fatal if unguarded, boasting a physical damage of 160. Using this techniques poses a great deal of danger to the user as he damages his chakra pathway itself to be able to mold sufficient chakra to perform it. Once used, the user loses the use any gravitational related techniques for the remainder of the fight and is unable to mold chakra for techniques above A-Rank for 5 turns.
Note: The technique is immune to normal Elemental Weaknesses and Strengths and as such can't be blocked or stopped. However, the enemies can still use techniques that prevent or reduce physical damage to their bodies to survive its effects or escape its range through a fast enough technique. This means that in the large scale, while the technique can't be stopped or directly countered, enemies can still manage to survive if the logically counter.
Note: can only be used by Rinnegan bios with the ( Tendō ) - Deva Path active

(Doton: Uitenpen) - Earth Style: Wheel Of Fortune
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Descripton: The user will bite his thumb and perform the Boar → Monkey → Bird → Monkey → Ram hand seals, slamming their hand into a scroll on the ground. This technique is a combination of the Summoning Technique and an Earth Release technique. The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon which, during the process of being summoned through this technique, he shapes into a design he outlined previously in a scroll. This allows the user to change the topography of the map and create any earthen feature he needs from pillars to gorges, canyons, mountains or simply plains. If the user wants to or is defeated, the alteration ends as any summon eventually does. Additionally he can use (Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control at any point to change the design and alter the summoned terrain.
Note: can only be used once per battle

(Katon: kensei no doragon ) - Fire Release: Power of the Dragon
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20 (-5 per turn)
Damage Points: 40
Description: This technique is specialised for thought who have great control over their fire chakra. This is usually used in close combat where the user will release their fire chakra around a part of their body covering them in fire. Due to it being the users chakra and not that strong, it wont hurt the user, which can be quit painful if an opponent is hit by it. When someone/something is hit by these flames created be the user, it will great a burst of flames on impace from the user, to burn the target more and producing some additional concussive force.

Note: can stay active for 2 turns at a time
Note: Can't use water jutsu at the same time

- Create a subject to do your bidding (2)
- Instill fear into the islanders while testing your new subject. (2)

Summary: Zeref is going to play with his own unique abilities to try and test the limits of his skills before he makes himself known to the world.

Zeref rested in his chair as he pondered at the best way to create his fighting force in order to begin his plans, though most of them would require test subjects which was easy to do in theory, though it would draw way too much attention to the island, something he couldn't afford right now, no. Instead he would have to come up with a new plan. It was in the moment he had an idea, well, it was more of a distraction. One of his unique skills was control of the base of most life, through his ability to bend and create carbon. It had so many uses and forms, it was all around and in almost everything, being able to control it was quite the attribute. A smile appeared across his face and a fun little experiment came to mind. Climbing out of his chair he stepped forward stretching, cracking his fingers with a dark smile on his face...

"Excellent..."

He closed his eyes for several moments as he focused on an image in his head, gathering his chakra, focusing on his breathing. This wasn't something he'd tried before but if it worked it could prove to be quite a useful trait. He imagined the perfect image of a beast, the king of the jungle. What a fitting idea for this island, the king of the jungle to hunt the tribes that thought they were the strongest. He couldn't get distracted. With his chakra gathered, Zeref held out his right hand infront of him. A dark substance would begin to form there, spiralling into a single point. It was forming out of the air, the substance being drawn from the ground, the pillars, all around, It came together converging on a single point. After a while, Zeref brought his hands together now focussing on the shape he had imagined. The dark sustance began to bend, reshape in the air, stretching out in different areas. Four legs began to form, a tail, a large head... slowly but surely, it took the full form of the king of the jungle, the lion.

You must be registered for see images

Forming in front of Zeref it's eyes glowed blue as it growled, though unmoving. It was a beast he'd created, unless he wanted it to, it wouldn't attack him anyway, but without him following the beast out of the base, he would have no way of controlling it's actions. He had to think about this for a moment, but today was all about ideas. From his sleeve a rod of pure black dropped, catching it in his hand. Zeref walked around and placed it in the back of the lion, forcing it in. From here he would create a series of rods, different lengths, placing them throughout the beast. With the last one, Zeref took a step back, focusing his chakra into this rods and into the beast and what happened next was unbelievable. His chakra surged through beast in a unique manor, it's eyes would gain the rings like his while suddenly in his mind, Zeref could see himself. The vision of the beast was linked to his own. This method of control was incredible. Though, try as he might, he couldn't do one thing, release his ninjutsu through the beast as a medium. It's own limits was that of controlling carbon, the material it was made of, for now that would have to do. So he decided to test it's limits.

Zeref was sat back in his chair some time later, but even though he was looking forwards, in his head he could see something else, the image of the end of the tunnel that led into his new underground base. His beast was emerging into the outside world, Zeref's vision linked with the beast as it did so. This was amazing, with different effects he could even use this as a form of infiltration, or ... what if he tried this on a person, how strong would his control be? Could they hold his paths? The options were countless, for now he needed to test his control over this beast.

The beast made it's way out, under Zeref's control, looking around not really seeing much, but then something hit it's side and bounced off, landing on the floor on it's right. Controlling the beast to look down, it saw a spear, those pathetic islanders decided to try and take up arms against him? Well, it was time to make them pay. The lion let out a tremendous roar, sprinting off to it's right. A man tried to run from behind a tree, stumbling in fear as the lion leapt through the air, landing on his back pinning him to the ground, chest first. The force of the impact with the full weight of the carbon lion broke the man's ribs in an instant. He cried in fear, the lion drew it's claws across his back, tearing through his flesh like butter, his muscles torn apart, blood poured as he cried in agony. It became too much, the man fell silent and still. He'd either passed out from pain or the damage had killed him.

A rustle to the beasts left now drew Zeref's attention, the beast turned to look in that direction. Several men were sprinting away leaving their weapons behind in fear, the knew there was nothing they could do. Zeref caused the beast to let out another tremendous roar before controlling it to check the area around his base before settling it down in front of the tree like a guard dog. This would serve as a warning should anyone try to interfeer. Not only this but the beast had done much more than that, it had served as advancement in his research for his experiments he wish to try. It wouldn't be easy to take over the world by himself, he wasn't the strongest, so instead, he would invest his time and unique powers into creating the ultimate army, one that would all do his bidding.

Rank: S
Type: attack/defence
Range: short - mid
Chakra Cost: 15-40 (-5 per turn)
Damage Points: N/a
Description: The user will focus their chakra gathering carbon around them into a a single place to create animal made of carbon, much like how deidara can make clay creatures. The user can control the structure of the carbon beast to either make them nearly as hard as diamond, or as soft as graphite. This creature is the pretty big, and is large enough for 2 people to ride on it's back. It is able to control carbon itself and use carbon jutsu. The creature the user creates cannot fly. The user can make this animal anysize up to 20 feet tall.

Note: Can only create one creature per useage
Note: The user can only create things within short range of him
Note: The user can only create: Dogs, apes, bulls, tigers, lions, bears, elephants and snakes.

Note: I know the chakra rods only work on summons and edos, but i adapted this to build a story where i shall create an edo to do my bidding. It's all part of my character development and building on his skills.

Pyke The Bloodharbor Ripper: https://animebase.me/threads/pyke-the-bloodharbor-ripper.765290/

Summary: Pyke arrived at the moonlight island after having brutally tortured and murdered a man by the name of Beke, hunting for the notorious pirate Gangplank.

The sea was silent, the waves were almost none existent. The morning sun was rising in the distance, the clouds covering the sky, only letting a few rays through to the ground. The harbor was small, looked insignificant compared to the previous ones he had been to. A remote island with little to no human’s presence. Pykes small boat hit a broken pole in the water, the rope had been cut and the harbor itself looked desolate, if it were not for the human interaction happening in a small market place, and in slaughter docks nearby he could hear the people working on cutting and cleaning the fish. He could smell the blood, everyone here was tainted, everyone here was of the same cut, they were all criminals, all of them conspired against him, he believed so as they hid the pirate captain from him. Though no longer.

The fishing ships at the docks were still, only a few large merchant ships in between and a few galleons, large warships indeed. Honestly it was not difficult to know which galleon that was the one of Gangplank. The Dead Pool, the galleon that was the home of the notorious pirate captain. A large black hull, with broken wooden planks, the cannons and harpoons sticking out its sides as if it were ready to strike at a moments notice. The three large masts painted black and stained with dried blood. The sea worthy men walking across the deck with their cutlasses and their scars across their body, many of them not wearing any shirts in the tropical heat. Pyke saw the first mate standing by the rudder, commanding the men around, carrying ropes and barrels, looked like they were stocking up for their next journey, unfortunate that there were not going to be anymore. Pyke was in the water now, between several docked fishing boats and the debris of broken wooden planks and more. Only his head over water, he was looking between the fishing boats towards the Dead Pool. He needed to know more before he would proceed with his infiltration, why he allowed for his ability to unfold. He could sense the pirates aboard the Dead Pool, there were about thirty of them, with two individuals in the captain’s quarters. He knew the location of every single man on that ship, their chakra signatures were quite inconsiderable. The captains slightly more than the rest, but really nothing to compare. As he was making his plan of action, he noticed that several insignificant chakra signatures in the jungle suddenly disappeared as if they never existed, however there were two signatures in the jungle, one far above the rest and one that resembled that of the first signature. Perhaps a clone or something else. However, he was not too interested in it at the time, though he would figure it out later. Instead he noticed a small boy being led aboard the ship together with one brutish looking man, even with his skills he could not make out what he was there for or what they would be talking about. Though he was being led into the captain’s quarters. Pyke managed through this to not only understand every threat onboard the ship but also the ones surrounding the ship and the docks, but the entire island, he had mapped it all out in his head where every single person and animal was on the entire island in just a few moments.

Meanwhile onboard the Dead Pool…

The young boys’ eyes were wide and panicked as he was led toward the captain’s quarters.

It was the agonized screams emanating from the door at the end of the passageway that gave him second thoughts. The cries echoing through the claustrophobic decks of the enormous black warship were heard by every crewman aboard the Dead Pool – as intended.

The first mate, his face a web of scars rested a reassuring hand on the boy’s shoulder. They came to a halt before the door. The child winced as another tortured wail issued from within.

“Steady,” said the first mate. “The captain’ll want to hear what you’ve got to say.”

With that, he rapped sharply on the door. It was opened a moment later by a hulking brute with facial tattoos and a broad, curved blade strapped across his back. The boy didn’t hear the words spoken between the two men; his gaze was locked on the heavyset figure seated with his back to him.

He was a big man, the captain, and of middling years. His neck and shoulders were thick and bullish. His sleeves were rolled up, and his forearms slick with blood. A red greatcoat hung from a peg nearby, along his black tricorne.

“Gangplank,” breathed the boy, his voice thick with fear and awe.

“Captain, I figured you’d want to hear this,” said the mate.

Gangplank said nothing, nor did he turn, still intent as he was on his work. The scarred sailor nudged the boy forward. He stumbled before he caught his footing and shuffled closer. The child approached the captain of the Dead Pool as he would a cliff’s edge. His breath quickened as he caught full sight of the captain’s work.

Basins of bloody water sat upon Gangplank’s desk, along with an array of knives, hooks, and gleaming surgical implements.

A man lay upon the workbench, bound tightly with leather straps. Only his head was free. He looked around in wild desperation, neck straining, his face covered with sweat.

The boy’s gaze was inexorably drawn to the man’s flayed left leg. The boy suddenly realized he couldn’t remember what he came here to do.

Gangplank turned from his work to stare at the visitor. His eyes were as cold and dead as a shark’s. He held a slender blade in one hand, delicately poised between his fingers, like a fine paintbrush.

“It’s a dying art, scrimshaw,” said Gangplank, his attention returning to his work. “Few have the patience for carving bone these days. It takes time. See? Every cut has a purpose.”

Somehow, the man was still alive, despite the ragged wound in his leg, the skin and flesh peeled back from his thighbone. Transfixed with horror, the lad saw the intricate design the captain had carved upon the bone; coiling tentacles and waves. It was delicate work, beautiful even. That just made it even more terrible.

Gangplank’s living canvas sobbed.

“Please…” he moaned.

Gangplank ignored the pathetic plea and set down his knife. He splashed a cup of cheap whiskey over his work, clearing it of blood. The man’s scream threatened to rip his own throat out, until he slumped into merciful unconsciousness, his eyes rolling back in his head. Gangplank grunted in disgust.

“Remember this boy,” Gangplank said. “Sometimes, even those who are loyal forget their place. Sometimes, it’s necessary to remind. Real power is all about how people see you. Look weak, even for a moment, and you’re done.”

The boy nodded, his face now drained of color.

“Wake him,” said Gangplank, gesturing toward the unconscious crewman. “The whole crew needs to hear his song.”

As the ship’s surgeon stepped forward, Gangplank swung his gaze back to the boy.

“Now,” he said. “What did you want to tell me?”

“A… a man,” said the boy, his words faltering. “A man on the docks.”

“Go on,” Gangplank said.

“He was tryin’ not to be seen by the people. But I seen him.”

“Mm-hmm,” Gangplank muttered as he began to lose interest. He turned back to his work.

“Keep goin’, lad,” the first mate urged.

“He had a mean red laughing mask and shark teeth around his shoulders… He looked like a monster.”

Gangplank stood up from his chair, like a colossus rising from the depths.

“Tell me where,” he said.

The leather belt of his holster creaked in his tightening grip.

“Down by the broken docks, just nearby.”

Gangplank’s face flushed an angry shade of crimson as he pulled on his greatcoat and claimed his hat from its peg. His eyes glinted red in the lamplight. The child was not alone in taking a wary step back.

“Give the boy a silver coin and a hot meal,” the captain ordered to his first mate as he strode purposefully toward the cabin door.

“And get everyone to the docks. We’ve got work to do.”

Pyke was on the move…

As Pyke was diving through the water, between the debris and the seaweeds, he monitored the situation as suddenly the men aboard the ship scattered, most of them running off the ship, weapon in hand towards the docks, something had caught their attention. Only tour people were left on the ship, all four of them inside the captain’s quarters. He appeared behind the ship, the name Dead Pool in front of him. He grabbed onto the wood and began climbing up the side, the water dripping from him as he did, he climbed past the windows looking in just for a moment. He landed on the deck, quite silently, moving past the rudder towards the edge, looking down to the closed door to the captain’s quarters. He pulled his blade, and took his satchel from his side, dropping it down onto the deck in front almost sounding like a thud or a heavy step. A moment later, the door was opened, and the captains first mate stepped out, he bent over picking up the satchel. No one knew what was happening before it was too late. From inside the captain’s quarters it seemed like the first mate just suddenly dropped to the deck, lying lifeless there as the blood began to spread from his body where his head used to be. Pyke stood in the opening, the bloody blade in hand, his eyes fixed on the captain.

The ships surgeon had left, only the captain and the boy as well as the captain’s canvas was left.

“Pyke!” said Gangplank with a furious look on him, his grib around his belt tightened.

“You remember me… I remember you too, you were there!”

The boy was terrified beyond belief, he fumbled backwards until he fell over one of the basins tumbling into a wall, knocking himself unconscious.

“The boy is innocent unlike everyone else on this island… good to know he won’t witness what I am about to do…”

Gangplank drew his blade pointing it towards Pyke, only Pyke was not there anymore. It was just as Gangplank was about to turn to look, that Pyke appeared in front of him, his spiked knife tearing up through the captain’s arm, the cutlass dropping to the floor, as Pyke pushed him backwards over the table and into his chair, smashing the window. The captain held on to Pyke’s extended arm, the blade still stuck in the broken and bloodied arm. His face was furious, there was no fear, no regret, nothing in his eyes. He was not going to give Pyke the pleasure of seeing him in agony.

“There is always room for you at the bottom of the sea…”

Pyke twisted the blade and pulled it out, now the captains eyes began to widen in pain, the fear creeping up on him, but Pyke did not care, all he did was thrust the blade through the captains chest, pinning him to the chair, as blood flowed out of his mouth and nose, before his hand slipped and Pyke pushed him out through the opening. The captain stared up at the Dead Pool, before the water below consumed him. Pyke pulled out the manifest and crossed off the last name.

He walked up to the man on the table slapping him a few times before he awoke, still in agonizing pain he looked at Pyke.

“P… please help me.”

Pyke stared at him, a crewmember of the ship. Pyke leaned over him, placing his hand over his mouth before he took one of the surgical knives, the man trying to scream for help, but nothing came through Pyke’s hand besides mumbling and the crying, before the surgical knife pierced through his right eye and through his brain, Pyke tearing everything within to nothing with a smile, torturing him with the pain until his body was motionless.

It was at this time, Pyke walked up to the boy whom was awake.

“Tell the pirates what happened here… tell them… if I find them… they will all die.”

The boy stared at Pyke, he spared his life, he ran off.

Pyke turned his attention outwards. He stepped out onto the deck, looking out across the harbor, the boy running to the pirates. Pyke still sensed the two entities in the jungle. They had spiked his interest further, their energy was far stronger than what he had seen in a long time, perhaps something interesting would come of it, now that he had finished killing the ones on the manifest. He jumped over the railing and into the water, as he swam through it to the docks. There he made his way across the streets, before entering the forests moving towards the nearest entity. He could see one of them was over ground, while the other was below ground.

- Scout potential threat (2)

Summary: Normally this would be a B rank mission, but due to the nature of the way i want to approach, i feel B rank wouldn't be justified as it's a single "threat" in this case, where as my character wont see it that way, just more of a form of curiosity than anything and i'll be making a play on that.

Zeref paced the room now, walking back and forth, lost in thought. His plan had been a success to some extend, he had indeed created a minion that he could control at a distance but that was the main problem. He'd have to actually control it. It would be a drain on him and another distraction when the time came, by far the least ideal way to approach any form of long term confrontation. But what else could he do. Well he did have one method, though, that required dark dealings even for him. The use of Edo tensei was one of those techniques that once you used it, it would change your life forever. It's not the fact that you're bringing a life back that was once lost, it's the way you go about doing it, sacrificing someone else. The moment you decided one life was worth another is the moment you're putting yourself in the position of a god.

This wasn't what Zeref needed or wanted, of course he'd killed before, it was that kind of world, fight to survive or to punish those who did wrong with their warped ideology, but to start deciding whose life had more worth. Though even then, Edo tensei wasn't a perfect resurrection, their bodies almost like a shadow of their former selves, hollow, cracked, no, it was far from perfect for bringing someone back, just a more in control zombie who does your bidding. Instead he'd have to master his skills in Yang Release but that was such a complex skill, it would take time and hard work, though he wasn't sure how long he'd have. It was in that moment he saw movement....

Stopping in his tracks he looked around, what had he seen? Wait no, it wasn't in the room, it was a moment before he realized that in his mind he was seeing through his creations eyes, the carbon lion he's made with his chakra rods in here. He focussed on it now, looking out he saw the figure approaching on the beach, his movement being caught with the rinnegan, heading in this direction. In an instant Zeref released one of the seals on his body, forming a barrier around himself completely hiding his chakra from anyone. If he was going to engage with anyone it would be on his terms:

Fuuinjutsu: Anmoku no jikkō) Sealing Arts: Unspoken Execution

The barrier would form around him, but that wasn't all he did. The caused the Carbon lion to rise up and shoot off around to his left, moving swiftly. This would serve to do two things at once. If the man saw the lion moving, it would draw his attention, following the beast and in doing that, keep him away from the entrance to Zeref's underground base. Not only this but if the man could sense chakra he would be drawn to the beast and the beast alone. Either that or the natives. But after what Zeref had done to them, they would think twice before attacking anyone that approached this island it would seem. Well, no matter, the beast he'd created would now help with that, it was stronger that them anyway, this would serve as the perfect exercise for his testing. Zeref had made the beast as something he could potentially approve on in fights to come, so in testing it in a thread against his new underground base, it would give him an idea of how to proceed.

Zeref would make his way up and out of his lair, going un seen in the process, while the man's attention would be drawn to the lion on his right side. Zeref would take this opportunity, using his sage speed to leap into the tree's silently passing through ging around to the man's left side, staying hidden. What he would do is see the man's chakra system through the linked vision of the rinnegan. It would seem he was quite strong, Now what had brought a guy like this to this island. Looking out towards the coast he could see a large boat, pirates maybe? Searching for anything of value? Or just a drunken idiot that knew no better.

Now kneeling in a tree long range away from the man off to his left, Zeref looked down and watched. he controlled the lion to slow down now, walking from the man's right, entering a clearing, prowling through the bushes to face the man. Zeref knew it must of been a weird sight, seeing a dark Lion like this in the jungle with all those rods through it's body, approaching, a man with chakra as strong as his would surely assume something else was going on. Zeref decided to entertain this man that could be seen as a threat. But it would take a bit of skill. First of all he would focus his chakra so that he could project his voice from the the location of the lions mouth, so that as the lion moved it's mouth it would seem as though it was speaking. Adding a growl to his voice to make it seem move convincing while he spoke. Now he would have to create the right setting to drive the man away.

"You've come to the wrong island.... you are tresspassing on sacred ground... forcing me out of my slumber... you have one chance and one chance only.... leave now.... or let your body serve as nutrients for the plants of this island... but i'll warn you now.... don't test me....."

(Utsusemi no Jutsu) - Empty Cicada Shell Technique
Rank: D
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points:N/A
Description: Forming the needed hand seal Ram, a shinobi can project his voice to a different area to hide their location and the number of allies at their side. It is an excellent complement to stealth tactics.

With his final words, he caused the beast to let out an eminating roar that shook the very air, taking that precise moment then and there to project his own will onto the man. In that moment he would focus his full will of his killing intent upon the man to show him how he truly intended to slaughter him if he dared challenge him here. This wasn't an empty threat either. If he decided to attack the Lion here and now, Zeref would see that as him disregarding any sacred traditions of the island, being another pathetic human who just cared about himself. In this sense, it wasn't a threat, it was a promise that he'd make the man pay, pushing this out through his killing intent.

In doing this, he had taken control of the situation, the man had an ultimatum. Fight and die, or leave. There was no threat her for Zeref, he was THAT confident in his skills.

Note: Killing intent would take a stronger effect due to Sage vs Jounin.

If you choose to take this as an official fight, please make the thread. I'll reply with my current chakra count and anything active at the time such as my rinnegan, cw and the beast i created. Though you are free to continue this as a story which i'd prefer to do, it's more fun that way :)

Summary: Pyke has ventured into the jungle to search for the individuals with his chakra sensing, see what is happening.

As Pyke traversed the jungle, it was quite easy for him since he was capable of tracking both individuals with his sensing abilities. The jungle was thick with bushes, trees and much more, making it difficult for regular people to move through it, though Pyke moved through the trees. As he came to a clearing in the forest, he would witness several things happening at once. Suddenly one of the chakra signatures just disappeared as if it had never existed. It was the signature that had been underground that had vanished. Though he could still track the other signature, Pyke jumped down from the trees and moved through the grass in the clearing, he did not focus directly towards the lion even though he could easily sense its whereabouts as it would move slowly through the bushes. As it came closer, Pyke did not know if the other signature he found had vanished due to dying, or if it had concealed itself, thus staying on his toes. Though when the lion approached, it was completely black with rods sticking out of it several places, and the Rinnegan as its eyes. A very unusual sight should not even be possible. Pyke knew of the Rinnegan but he did not know of its powers, as he had never faced it before. Thus, Pyke would approach with caution as he turned to face the prowling lion.

Suddenly the lion spoke, it spoke like a man, telling him to leave this place as it was sacred ground, though Pyke saw nothing sacred about this place. Though the lion may have been in slumber, it is now awake, and no reason to leave this place for Pyke, not when he had come this far into the jungle to investigate. As it had finished speaking it roared out with tremendous force, as he felt the killing intent of what he thought to be the lion to rain down upon him, the intentions of slaughtering and tearing him apart, the eyes of the Rinnegan being imprinted into his mind. Pyke in his right mind, though his mind was already construed and psychologically damaged from his past, would never think to back down from a beast that was facing him down, especially with his past of hunting beasts larger than this. He was not paralyzed but the fear still had impact on him, it was truly a dangerous and scary sight, though Pyke pulled the spiked blade from his belt, immediately making a cut across his upper arm in the process. Feeling this pain, as blood dripped from the small wound or cut, he could feel the blood rushing, he felt it all, it was an amazing feeling. He turned his eyes dead as a shark, to the lion.

“You may be a lion, but I have faced dangers more than just a lion, though I do recognize the Rinnegan when I see it… if you are trying to scare me away, then this will not work, but I am quite certain that you are not real.”

Pyke stepped forward still holding his blade in hand, the staff on his back and the sword of the thunder god on his hip ready to be drawn.

“Only humans can possess the Rinnegan!”

This was Pykes extent of knowledge and what he believed. He got into a combat stance, staring down the lion.

“If you intend to hurt me, then why do you not try…”

Within the tree Zeref watched, he listened and he was a bit shocked. He'd tried to use the fear factor, curse, threat, his very own killing intent to try and cause this man to leave the island, yet the response was unforeseen. The man before his lion drew a blade a cut himself. Blood pouring down his arm, but he was able to move. He'd overcome the fear Zeref had tried to instill into him by replacing it with pure pain, what kind of man was he? Was he immune to fear? No, wait. For a moment Zeref had seen something. With the rinnegan in his lion his vision was linked, he could see the slightest movements with it's perception and one thing the man couldn't hide, if even for a moment, he shook with fear. He spoke like a prideful man, one not afraid to die, but at the end of the day, he was just a man.

He seemed to not just be the brute that his appearance would have you think. He did have fear, but he was also inteligent, well informed, he knew about the rinnegan, that how someone had to be controlling the beast, but where did he know this from. Well Zeref made a decision in that moment. Rather than kill the man, it was time to start putting some other plans in motion. And to do that the first step would be to deal with the man before him. An all out fight would draw attention to this island and with it, attention to Zeref and he couldn't afford that to subdue one man, instead it would be all about deception.

Zeref controlled the lion to grown once more and as the man stepped forwards, it braced itself to attack. After a moment it would begin to run forwards, aiming to leap at the man, it's fang's bared as it aimed to rip out the man's throat, but in that moment moment, the two were about to connect, suddenly the beast would burst into nothingness. The rods in it's body would drop on the man from in the air and the black that made up it's body was completely gone. The rods remained on the floor to show it had actually been there as the man would look around confused as to what had gone one. After a few moments, the man would fall to the ground, passing out. But why? With his control, he'd caused all the carbon in the beast to react with every bit of oxygen around the man, turning it all to carbon dioxide without him realizing. In doing this the man wouldn't get oxygen to his brain and so he would pass out in the process. An easy way to subdue someone. After a few moment Zeref would then pass through the trees and pick up the lifeless body of the man he'd just knocked out. From here he would take him to his base.

The man would slowly wake in a dark lit room, a temple, only lit by the flames on the walls. Though he wouldn't be able to move. His body would be bound to something solid, not being able to move any of his limbs. His arms pinned down, but not only that his hands would be in pain. He'd look at them as a black rod stuck out of either one. He couldn't even mold his chakra just feel Zeref's being imposed on him. He was at the mercy of Zeref at this point. Zeref was sat out in front of him looking on, watching, waiting for the man to awake. When he finally saw him stirring he rose to his feet and slowly made his way towards the man bound before him.

"It seems that you already know about the power of my eyes, so you'll probably believe me when i say there is no use in you struggling here and now. Those rods will stop your chakra flow and without your chakra there is no way you'll escape those bindings. For now, instead of trying to fight them, why don't we talk."

Zeref now stood in front of the man, one meter away looking directly in his eyes. Zeref showed no emotion at this time he was just looking at the man before him, being sure of what he was about to do.

"To kill you here and now would be a waste it would seem. You're a proud man and your eyes say you still have a goal you have yet to achieve. Going off what i can see in you, i'd assume it's vengence of some kind? Who am i to judge. It would be a shame for man with your knowledge and drive to become a simple experiment of mine. No, instead i have a better idea. My goals are simple. I'm going to unify the world. I'm going to create a force, a destructive one, bring terror to the world and force them to unite under one banner, it's as simple as that. Now, as for you. It would of been easy to kill you, you may be angry about that but really... you know it's true. The only reason i didn't is because i didn't want to draw attention to this island. So instead i decided to have a little talk to you, look you in the eyes myself. And i have a proposition for you.

Join me. Simple as that. You're free to go from here. I'll heal those wounds. And you're free to do as you will. But when the time comes, and it will. Things will be set in motion, that can't be undone. You're free to refuse but believe me when i say that wont end well for you. If you agree and betray me or try to kill me, you will experience the most excruciatingly painful death you could possibly imagine.... and just when you think it's going to end.... i'll bring you back, and repeat it over... and over... until your mind is completely destroyed. That is not a threat. It's a promise....

So... i leave the decision with you. Will it be an alliance and mutual existence... or hell?"

His last words lingered in the air as he left what would happen next to the man:

Pyke stood before the dark beast, its rods protruding, and its eyes fixated upon him. As the beast ran towards him, trampling the grass in its path, Pyke analyzed its movements, its brute paws, the strength of it, the force of its movement, he knew how strong the beast was and how it would hurt him physically in a direct conflict. He knew he had to make some evasive maneuvers, or simply overpower it. His blade extended in front of him, he knew exactly what to do, to evade the incoming force, not only that but also how to catch not only the beast but the one pulling the strings by surprise. However, it was Pyke whom was caught by surprise in the end, as the beast leapt through the air, its paws first, open mouth, teeth ready to dig deep into him, he stepped forward in a quick decision, aiming to begin his strike with one hand on his legendary sword. Just as he was about to strike the beast the moment before it would reach him, it vanished. The rods from the beast fell around him, the beast had disappeared before his very eyes as if it had never existed, only the rods proved its existence. As he walked around looking for clues, his mind became dizzy, he felt as if his consciousness was slipping away, what was going on. He fell to his knees, dropping his blade by his side, he tried to focus, looking around, his chakra sensing did not pick up anything at all, but every fiber in his body told him he was in danger. His body fell lifeless to the ground, the last thing he saw was the dirt and tall grass around him before everything turned to darkness.

An unknown time later, he awoke, not after a pleasant sleep, nor was it a pleasant awakening. His eyes watery, he looked around able to see a silhouette. He tried to move, his mind waking up. He could not move, that was when his eyes turned to his arms, legs and body. He was bound tightly. Not only this, he saw the same rods protruding from his body several places, the same as the beast. This must have been the one thing controlling it, as he could feel that he could not mold chakra, he could not even sense the other person in the room, it blocked everything. He was so carelessly taken by surprise. The pain was indeed excruciating, though, his mind was fixated on many things, it may not have felt as painful as it really was. He knew very little of the man in front of him, but he did figure several things out about him, just by what he had witnessed, he has the Rinnegan, and its incredible prowess no doubt, and he wields the power of some sort of beasts or elements or whatever that was able to control it and make it disappear. Though not disappear really, now that he thought more of it, it must have been some sort of toxin caused by this beast itself that made him fall. He would make sure to never fall for such a thing ever again. He did not say anything to the man in front of him, his dead shark like eyes just glaring at him for the moment as he listened to him rambling on about his own prowess and strength as well as him being able to kill him. No doubt he was able to kill him, however, Pyke knew he could have given him one hell of a fight if he had been prepared. Though now he was simply listening to the man’s proposal, a man whom wanted to unite the world through pain and destruction. He clearly intended to become the evil that would unite the people. Though Pyke saw the idea behind it, he did not see another option obviously than to accept his proposal, however, Pyke did not see a reason to not still kill every single person he sought to be rotten to the core.

“You seem to have a lot of things on your mind, telling me all this, making me believe to have an option when you know that no one wants to die no matter how strong they may be or how they may try to hide it, no one wants to die. The options that you gave me is nothing more than an illusion, either I join you or I die, and the obvious choice is the choice I make, not because I see you as an interesting person that may be someone I can trust, but because it is the logical choice as well as it being not only beneficial but also since this is not the way I intend to leave this world.”

Pyke said, calmly, his body was becoming used to the pain and the situation, he almost smiled at the man.

Zeref looked on at the man bound in his chair, as he spoke Zeref smiled. Just as he thought, he was indeed smart. He understood his situation very well, though not quite well enough. Looking him in the eyes with a smile on his face, Zeref spoke.

"Think of it this way then. You had an option to begin with. I could of killed you while you lay there unconcious. Or when you entered this island. From there you've had a choice. I gave you a warning which you chose to ignore instead provoking a fight with my creation. Just because your options are limited now, don't pretend that your own actions didn't bring you to this point. If you'd chosen to leave in the first place, you'd never be here in the first place. That's on you. I simply wanted to be left to my own devises.

But you have the choice to join me even at this point, because even if we never met here, the chances are, you'd cross paths with my future plans, and then what? We fight then? You join me then? Right now i'm sure you've thought about fighting back and even if i removed those rods, what are your chances. Which is still an option. But your very body is telling you this: If you fight back, can you really win?

You're not doubting your own strength, no i see that in your eyes, the way you hold yourself, the way you were ready to fight from the start, not being told what to do against my beast. That i admire. That's the only reason you are still alive with the option you have now.

If you'd of left, i'd never be in this situation.

So if after your decisions led to this point... and you now understand that it is your own doing.... before you try and impose on me that i forced you to come to this island, i forced you not to heed my warnings... or that i'm a monster for letting you have the choice of living and being free from bindings.... what is your answer?"

As he said this, he stepped forwards and placed his hand on the man's head, in doing so the man would now see... the king of hell behind Zeref... now it would be a chance to see how honest he was.

( Jigokudō ) - Naraka Path
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user activates the Naraka path which grants Nagato the ability to access the interrogation ability of the path but not the regeneration ability. The interrogation ability requires the user to merely grab his target and causing the King of Hell to appear before them. With the victim seemingly paralysed, the King Of Hell will unzip its mouth to release tendril-like arms and would draw out an apparition of the victim's life force energy in the form of an enlarged tongue. The King of Hell then proceeds to pass its judgement. If the person was lying or refused to answer the questions, the King of Hell would remove their tongue and consume it, killing them. However, if they told the truth, they would be spared, although left extremely exhausted.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan biographies for the activation of the path and will remain continously activated.

Pyke still incapacitated in front of them could not help but smile a little. He was getting quite the clear understand of what this man really was and what his intentions was. Of course, he was still afraid of dying like any sane man would be. He could feel the blood rushing through him, and of couse he could see some of the blood stains on the places that he had become impaled. Something that he had previously noticed his weapons and tools, and all had been placed elsewhere, obviously. And the man had just confirmed his suspicions, the rods prevented him from molding and utilizing his chakra. Of course, the man had given him a warning as to stay away, but he was a free man and he did not intend to listen to a lion.

“I am not pretending to say that you did not give me a choice to leave, reasonable to understand you want to be left to your own devices, though if so, you should have made a better work of hiding yourself to be fair. I could sense your whereabouts all the way from three islands away. Perhaps if we fought then I may have won, maybe not, who knows, but who said my intentions were ever to confront you, the curiosity that spiked me was the vast amount of chakra located here. Though if you had released me now to fight, I would obviously have lost not only because of the lack of energy that I have currently but also because of the current situation, everything is to your advantage, I know when I am beaten. And attempting to warn me to go around in this said jungle because you were here is no reason to force me to leave, simply because you decide to make your home, it has to be more convincing as to this is a sacred grounds, right now all it looks like is a cave in the middle of the jungle, it will only attract attention if you do not hide it better either through camouflage or bringing it out into the light hiding it in plain sight.”

While he had been talking the beast behind Zeref had arose, the king of hell a truly monstrous beast ready to swallow Pyke whole. Not first time he had been in a situation like that, but it was a first facing the king of hell.

“You never forced me to do anything you simply put an ultimatum upon someone, and to be fair, would you have heeded these warnings yourself if a lion was in front of you, I doubt it. But to speak plainly, I was intrigued as I said by you and the beast simply for its amount of chakra and now by your eyes and more, and seeing that are goals are somewhat similar in nature I will say yes to your proposal, but do not think that the choice your giving me is of free will, that you took away the moment you intoxicated me.”

With his response, both Zeref and the man knew where they stood, a mutual alliance of sorts through mutual understanding it would seem, one that would see them work together. The man couldn't lie and nor could he move until the point.

"It seems we understand each other then.... friend".

As he said this he pulled the chakra rods out of the man's hands and performed a seal with one hand, the chair he was bound to would disappear and with it the man would be free. The wounds in his hands were placed in a way to not do permanent damage nor to cause a mass of blood loss, but rather than heal the man it would serve as a reminder of how this unfolded.

[Mission complete]

Players involved: Gutsy Jiraiya | the pervy sage
Mission Rank: B-Class Rogue Ninja Bounty, PvE Bounty, Mission
Story elements chosen:

Orders: A former company of soldiers, the 7th Company of the Hangurian Army, has nested itself in the abandoned military barracks and camps located in Shaohai. From there this company has exercised numerous raids on villages in Haesu, including our own at Blackwater. Please hunt these men down and bring them to justice, dead or alive. Life in the post-Freehold world is already grim and difficult enough.

Wanted For: Banditry.

Bounty: We are offering 2,000 Kumi to the person(s) that capture or defeat the 7th Company.

Zeref allowed the man a few moments to regain himself and get used to his chakra being back to the way it had been before, following that he pointed to the corner behind him where all his items belonged while showing him a table with food and ale on. Zeref then pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket and passed it to the man.

"It's time we test this little agreement. I want to start off with a little task. As you can see there is a group that are wanted in this mission and it all lines up with my end goal. If i can destroy these bandits, it's one step closer to my end goal. In the prcocess i can make a name for myself, and earn finances to support my endeavors. Though as it would seem, it's also a good chance for us to test this new alliance of ours, wouldn't you say? I'm heading to Shaohai to deal with these men, i'd like to ask you to join me in this little skirmish, and i'm sure it wont take long?"

Zeref stood awaiting the man's response, ready to leave.

[with this i give Gutsy Jiraiya permission to take my bio and travel to Landmark 25 for this mission in his next response]

Pyke felt as the rods were removed from his being, as a seal was performed by Zeref which caused the chair to disappear as Pyke was now standing up. He felt the wounds on his body, they were not so bad after all to be honest. Zeref had pointed to a table with food and ale, as well as his things being collected there. He walked to the table, where he collected a piece of bread and some ale, the bread was devoured in a fashion similar to a beast devouring freshly hunted food, and the ale was gurgled down within seconds. After doing so he would collect his tools and weapons, his Sword of the Thunder God placed on his hip, the bullwhip and tomahawks on his back, as well as the Staff of the Guardian. He turned to face Zeref as he spoke of a mission, a task at hand, to hunt down some former soldiers turned mercenaries. Apparently, this was of paramount of importance really, should not be of much difficulty.

“Should not be too difficult, I’ll make room for them at the bottom of the ocean.”

With that, Pyke walked up to the wall next to them placing his hand upon it.

“There are some things you do not know about me, but what I am about to do, lets’ just say that it will make sure that we will not be in harms way no matter the circumstances.”

With that he released his energy into the wall as a unique seal appeared upon it, a seal of his own design, intricate patterns and all. The seal was the seal of the thunder god, a technique he had developed long ago. After placing it, he would walk out of the room together with Zeref, out into the jungle, through the bushes and landscape until they reached the harbor. The pirates had gone, people had gone back to normal. They reached Pykes boat, rather large. From there, he laid a course to their destination.

( Fūin Hirashin no Jutsu ) - Seal of The Flying Thunder God technique
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: This is the technique through which Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato apply the sealing formula, that will allow the use of their trademark space time techniques, to any desired object through physical contact and allowing him to teleport to that desired location through the Flying thunder God Technique and the use of its variations. While Minato carries with him multiple kunais marked with the seal (making the core aspect of his fighting style which revolves around the use of FTG Kunais), Tobirama doesn't. To use the Flying Thunder God technique on kunais, Tobirama has to apply the seal to them though through one use of the technique he can mark up to 5 kunais (this is valid only for kunais and other basic weapons, not enemies or other targets of the seal).
Note: Can only be used by Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato bios.

Resetting here.

As Giotto rode the waves of the seas near the water country, he leaned against the wooden made guardrail, arms crossed over it as the waves pushed off the boat and the wind blew thru his hair and cloak causing it to whip in the wind. Over the horizon an Island was becoming visible

There is the Island that I have heard so much about! Midnight Island!!

Once the boat made its way upon shore, Without waiting for the walkway to be established, Giotto hastily makes a big leap out of the boat and onto the shore of the island. As he land the sand on the beach seep into Giotto's dress shoes, making him very uncomfortable as he walked. It didnt take long for him to find a boulder to sit on as he shook the sand out of his shoes before putting them back on.

Coming from here

Zeref looked around, in an instant they had appeared back at the base he had created on midnight island, exactly how he'd left it a couple of day prior. He wondered how they'd got here, how pyke had brought them so far in what seemed like an instant. Then he noticed where they were. By the wall, he saw the marking the Pyke had made before they left, a form of seal it would seem. Could it be...

"This is your own variant of space time technique that allows you to move around based on these marks much like the summoning technique? So you summon yourself to a mark you have made if i'm correct?"

Pyke had appeared in an instant together with Zeref, back in the base that they had left just days prior. He stood there next to the seal, looking at Zeref with a smile, his shark teeth showing.

"Well you would be correct in your assumption, its one way I handled those bandits, can't hit what they can't catch."

Pyke walked over to the table, taking off his satchel and some other garments of less necessity. He looked around not quite sure what to do with the situation, however with is considerably skill within the field of sensing, he began to pick up something unusual.

"You might have another unexpected guest... there is a considerably strong chakra signature on this island... I know his exact location and movements, if you wish I can take you to him, though I am unsure of your plans."

Pyke said, as he laid his knife on the table and turned to face Zeref.

Zeref stood looking on at the man. He saw him with the knife, this wasn't know to ever be trusted, and so there was only one thing to do about that. Zeref pointed at Pykes head, as he did, he released a focussed shinra tensei into the man's head, hitting it with such force and knocking his head back into the wall, the combination of the shinra tensei and the man hitting his head would knock him out on the spot. As he does this Zeref smiles, before leaving the building, walking out onto the island before leaving the island without a trace....

Genji and Jesse finally arrive waiting patiently for the bounty collector.

@Drackos
Seemingly materializing from nothing but the shadows of the lines of trees, a shadowy figure appeared before Genji and Jesse. His stature initially seemed very small, but as he approached it exponentially grew in size; within moments the figure was towering above the trees themselves, his immense height reaching over 10 feet. Aside from this, he wore a long ornate red robe, cloaked with a black shroud which masked his true identity. His mysterious nature and height almost made him seem inhuman, a being that lived outside of humanity.

"Have you come to present us with what we asked?" The man asked with a rugged voice.

Genji and Jesse had been waited for a little under and hour, but the two had become increasingly bored exchanging war stories and their battle experiences.. Genji despite his short time with Jesse had grown quite fond of him, the same was true for the gun slinging cowboy. Suddenly out of nowhere a dark figure would appear in a red robe, and as he approached, he became increasingly large it was as if Genji and Jesse's depth perception had grown numb as he had waited.

"Have you come to present us with what we asked?"

Genji was confused for a moment.. "We..? If your the bounty collector then yes I have the head of the leader of Shimogakure.. My name is Genji, my companions name is Jesse. Forgive me for being cautious, but who are you?"

Genji wanted to know a little more about the mysterious figure before he gave up the young lady he had erased, for all he knew it could be one of her comrades who wanted to steal her back.
