I don't understand why people think you can't add haki to logia attacks? How would logia fight other logia if they can't add haki onto their logia attacks?

Cause elements affect elements, but why harden lava? Like would it even burn anymore? Unless logias haki affect them differently? Like with Enels observation and lightning combination. Maybe akainu using hardening haki would instead increase its heat? It'd be a good way to counter someone who uses haki and hardens to block a hit from akainu but then akainu uses haki which would increase his heat and plow through the opponents haki defense?

No it wouldn't make it burn more but it would allow it to connect. What if Akainu fought Kizaru instead of Aokiji? His lightning couldn't hit Kizaru's light like it would Aokiji's ice so how could the two fight? Can we only have logia fight each other if their DF's conflict? And if elements affect elements as in real life then how did smoke and fire impact each other if not for haki?(I know people hate me bringing that up because of the Ace having haki implication but how else could thaqt happen if logia users elements behave as the element once discharged?)

You don't think his mochi hardened can counter lava? A haki advantage for paras iv noticed is that no logia has hardened their element but they haven't necessarily shown a logia in a battle after the emphasis on haki.

But let me ask you, how would a logia use haki offensively? Sure they can use it defensively to help prevent damage from other haki but offensively hardening their logia ability would kinda defeat it's purpose but like with bb and wb if someone took akainus df would he automatically be just as strong offensively after learning to use the df even if he wasn't admiral tier?

Strong Mochi is cool and all but Luffy tanked 2 clean hits(i think it was 2, could be more) while Akainu took 3 or 4 clean hits from WB to the head.....what I am saying here is that Akainu is too much of a tank also Akainu can maneuver his body/lava like how Katakuri was doing to dodge Luffy's attacks
Akainu can use haki like how Katakuri is using his to make his strong mochi.....maybe call it strong Lava

So far I believe as far as we know, unless katakuri is in an enraged state, he can't be touched, can see in the future, and when he hardens his mochi he wipes the floor with gear 4 , plus his df is awakened, so I don't think it's too far fetch to atleast match them up. Of course current Akainu would win so I used mf

Literally his mocha likely wouldn't even last around magma brat.. The fact that he can see the future is a double edge sword for him cause he depends on it.. and the reason luffy is a bad match up is, he shifts his body according to luffys attack.. Key word.. SHIFT. lol.. Hes not shifting a magma punch the size of his body.. twice the size of his body actually.. lol Dogtooth would get NEg by magma brat its a joke
