no akainu can be beat? but imo only by yonko tier characters. like I wouldn't say that sakazuki could beat big mom for sure, but if someone else thiks he can, or cant, it would be cool to know why they think so, instead of just what I think

if not for the wg akainu would've continued fighting, he coudnt due to political reasons, a yonko just lost, throwing off the power balance that the wg has to maintain, so another yonko, or admiral going down would again put the world in even more turmoil. hell that right there shows they are more equal than not. yes the yonkos are stronger overall especially with their crews, but one on one? akainu vs any yonko would be very close. kuzan vs any yonko would be very close.

how do you know? youre not oda, stop acting like you were. the hero garp was portrayed to be rogers rival who was stalemated by whitebeard. so with what akainu did to sick whitebeard at marineford, and now hes gotten stronger, itd be smarter to assume hes closer to young garp than hes not. use your head

Akainu/WB wasn't a good example though since that was a Yonkou with a foot in the grave, sure he was still strong but it's not a good example of a yonkou level fighter and that's BB's character to run away. If it took the 3 Admirals and a trick shot to take out a dying younkou past his prime than it's likely that in a match between any 1 Yonkou captain and 1 Admiral the Yonkou would win a long hard fight.

and I agree, the typical yonko would beat the typical admiral. but I literally think kuzan, sakazuki, and borsalino are gonna be the 3 strongest marines they've probably ever had, the current generation of pirates/marines/etc is the strongest they've ever had and I think akainu, kuzan, and borsalino have just reached their prime.

I'm confident Big Mom would defeat MF Akainu.

BM's durability is insane. By portrayal she is more durable and has more stamina than WB, and Whitebeard was able to withstand what Akainu considered a finishing blow (Anime) or half his face blown off (Manga). Whitebeard was also sick and was able to subdue Akainu with one blow.

with not as much as a scratch. Which already puts her durability above Akainu. She has demonstrated some of the same destructive capabilities with her powers so far that whitebeard showed to destroy Marineford (Excluding the Tsunami feat). And as far as we know she could animate some of the Lava that akainu leaves behind from an attack and use it as an absolute counter for Akainu.

Also taking into account that she has flight and powerful long range attacks, I would see charlotte taking this more times than MF Akainu.

I honestly think Whitebeard was the only Yonko who might have stalemated with MF akainu, while the other yonko would have defeated him. Lets not forget that Akainu barely beat Aokiji. They were evenly matched all the way to the end, which is why the fight lasted as long as it did.
