Ninjutsu

Ninjutsu, or more coloquially know as Basic Ninjutsu, is the art of combining both Spiritual and Physical energies onto Chakra, and use that Chakra to achieve a number of functions. Ninjujutsu is the backbone of a Ninja, hence the name, and from this Basic techniques stems a whole list of more advanced applications, including Elemental Ninjutsu, which adds Nature Conversion to our chakra, Fuuinjutsu, Hidden Clan Abilities, etc.

As explained, Ninjutsu arrives through the combination of both Energies within your body. The Physical Energy, which stems from your own Stamina, your body energy, and your Spiritual Energy, an etherial reserve that is innate to each being. This combination creates chakra, which is the essence of the RP, as all techniques will require Chakra, with the exception of Taijutsu-related ones.

The application of Chakra is nearly infinite, but to facilitate, we've sectioned Ninjutsu into categories, which are the following:

  4. Animal Summoning and Animal Contract
  5. Advanced Ninjutsu & Character Restricted
Chakra Control and Body Enhancement

This category pertains to the creation of chakra and apply it within your body, or manifest it externally at point-blank. Techniques within this category will showcase Chakra's ability to attach and de-attach, akin a Glue, or increase one's Speed of motion. The idea is that chakra can have a sort of flexible tangibility, which allows you to grip or push objects or yourself, or even combating the laws of gravity.

(Bikoku Ninjutsu) - Shadow Stealth Technique

Description: This jutsu lets the user follow the target covert by concealing the user's presence.

This technique is a relatively simple technique where the user will use their chakra to hide their presence, allowing them to follow the target without them noticing. The technique is severely limited due to its rank and range requirement.

(Kawarimi no Jutsu) - Change of Body Stance Technique

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. The technique is a mix between high speed movement and the use of the transformation technique but has its limits.

A technique where the user will switch places with a nearby object (usually a block of wood) in order to flee and hide, or escape a close hit. It's a mixture of high speed movement and the transformation technique, but works within set limits, like distance. When used, what happens is you swap places with a log that you grab or anything nearby and leave it in place of where you were at and then you move away from that location, up to mid range logically.

(Ki Nobori no Shugyō) - Tree Climbing Practice

Description: This is a training method used to gain the basic skills of chakra control. This training involves focusing a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of one's feet, and using that to climb a tree without using one's hands. If the stream of chakra is too weak, the user will lose their footing on the tree and fall off. If it is too strong, the user will be pushed away from the tree, causing the bark of the tree to break around the point of contact and the user to fall. This technique becomes second nature to shinobi with more practice.

Note: Technique only for use of training methods.

A training method which helps the user gain the basic skills of chakra control, they will focus a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of their feet which allows them to climb trees without the use of hands. The chakra will pool at the users' feet, and this where the amount of chakra focused will play a role. If the chakra concentration is too weak, the user will fall from the tree, if too strong, they get hit away from the tree and fall to the ground. So a perfect balance is required.

(Suimen Hokō no Gyō) - Water Surface Walking Practice

Description: This training method is used to gain better chakra control. To do this, the user has to be emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of the their feet and using the repellent force to walk across the water's surface. This technique is more difficult to master than the Tree Climbing Practice, because the amount of chakra that needs to be emitted changes constantly. This technique becomes second nature to shinobi with more practices.

Note: Technique only for use of training methods.

Based on the same principles of (Ki Nobori no Shugyō) - Tree Climbing Practice and also used to gain better chakra control, the user will release a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of their feet, creating a repelling force which allows them to walk across water. The chakra released from the users' feet has to be adequate and constant, and thus requires precision and practice. However, it seems to be more difficult to master than Tree Climbing practice.

(Shunshin no Jutsu) - Body Flicker Technique

Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement, the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
Note: Cannot be used in battle.

A basic technique where the user will use their chakra to appear, and disappear in an instant. This allows them to escape with ease, and through the use of a nearby element like mist or sand, the user will mask their disappearance. Not usable in battle, but can be used in the NW in non-battle oriented manner or in training scenarios.

(Utsusemi no Jutsu) - Empty Cicada Shell Technique

Description: Forming the needed hand seal Ram, a shinobi can project his voice to a different area to hide their location and the number of allies at their side. It is an excellent complement to stealth tactics.

A technique where the user will form the Ram hand seal and through the use of chakra, be able to emit their voice from all around the field, in different locations. This allows the user to hide their location by fooling the opponent into believing they are somewhere else, or make them believe more than one opponent exists by projecting their voice multiple times. Combined with the right techniques, allows the user to employ stealth tactics to both fool the opponent and attack.

(Muon Satsujin Jutsu) - Silent Homicide Technique

Description: Muon Satsujin Jutsu, the ability to commit a silent homicide, is a technique to dispatch your foe with no warning. Your quick speed and skills will instantly kill them before they can provide a defense. Best tactic is when used with Hidden Mist jutsu. The technique works by having the user focus his chakra and his complete attention on moving fluidly, rapidly but muffling any sound he may make while moving as well as his presence, etc. It doesn't suppress his chakra or hides it but it can make the opponent virtually undetected if he manages to get on the opponents blind spot.

A technique where the user will use their chakra to lessen any sound he makes by moving, as well as their presence and also focus their chakra to moving fast and with ease. Best used in conjunction with the Hidden Mist Technique, this technique doesn't suppress or hide the users' chakra, but makes them extremely difficult to find when they get into the opponents' blind spot. The opponent can still be sensed by any means of sensing like Sensory.

(Chakra Kami Wana no Jutsu) - Chakra Hair Trap Technique

Description: After cutting her hair, the user infuses the strands of hair with her chakra to trap anyone that may step on the hair. Once immobilized, they then become an easy target for another technique.
Note: Can only be used by a Female bio

Usable only by a female bio, the user will infuse their strands of hair with chakra (cut off and thrown onto the ground) to trap anyone that steps onto it. This allows for a follow-up technique. Useful for keeping an opponent in place if needed.

(Bodi-en no Jutsu) Ninjutsu: Body Flame Technique

Description:
This technique is used in a similar way to the Body Flicker Technique. When using this technique, the body appears like it's being engulfed by flames, disappearing from view slowly, masking the users own high speed movement. In essence, the technique is simply an elemental variation of Body Flicker technique and thereby follows the same restrictions and possible uses.

A technique similar to Body Flicker Technique, where the user appears as if its being engulfed by flames as the user disappears slowly. This masks the high speed movement, and basically makes this an elemental variation of Body Flicker. It follows the same restrictions as the Body Flicker Technique.

(Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding with Camouflage Technique

Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user after performing the Tiger hand seal to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills.
Note: Technique lasts a total of 3 turns

A technique initiated through the formation of the Tiger hand seal. This allows the user to control how light is reflected around their body, with chakra. This renders them invisible as well as removes their scent and shadow, usable on any terrain. However, the user's position can still be perceived through minute distortions of air currents around them and the sound of footsteps as well as the marks footsteps leave in terrains like sand or mud. This ability does not fool Sensory Ninja nor those who have Doujutsu as they can see the chakra. Once initiated, the technique lasts for three turns.

Chakra Creation and Transformation & Rasengan

This category pertains to your ability to manifest chakra and then apply Shape Manipulation to it. It's the next step following the unbderstanding that chakra can have tangibility, so it can be manipulated very much like a spiritual clay, to mold and manipulate at will. The more chakra you put into it, the more powerful or bigger the technique, likewise, the more manipulation you put into it, the more complex the creation. Shape Manipulation is one step away from Elemental Ninjutsu, as all Elemental Ninjutsu will have an associated shape to it, which will translate into several structures/objects/beings composed of Nature Converted Chakra, but stem from the more basic idea of Chakra as a clay, that has to be manipulated to have tangibility and shape.

While the clay comparison is true to most basic applications, within this category is also the idea that Manipulation of shape can also mean manipulation of Appearance, and Color. You can make your chakra look like an ethereal, blue chair, which is clearly perceived as a chakra object, or you can Mimic a real chair, and make an exact copy of it. This of course creates less durable objects that are nonetheless a fake and reversible copy, which can poof away, like a clone of yourself in the Manga/Anime, and are very different from, for example, creating an actual wooden chair through the Wood Elemental Release.

One thing to be aware of is that, except in some specific applications, these basic chakra constructs are weaker than Elemental Ninjutsu, in the table of Elemental S&W.

(Bunshin No Jutsu) - Clone Technique

A technique where the user will create a clone of themselves through the use of chakra. However, this clone is merely an illusionary projection of the user, and cannot use any techniques as it is not a feasible and tangible clone like the Shadow Clone Technique and merely a projection. However, it can still fool the opponent, and can be made with elements as well, but then it will be D rank in strength.

(Henge no Jutsu) - Transformation Technique

Description: A Ninjutsu technique, which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

A technique where the user will use their chakra for transformation purposes. This allows them to transform themselves into any person, or object for stealth and deceptive purposes.

Description: The user will create a swarm of sakura(cherry blossoms)petals to surround there opponents and swirl around them causing confusion.The user can then attack there opponent from any angle they choose.Blinds opponents eyes for the turn this jutsu is used.

A technique where the user will through the use of their chakra manifest forth a swarm of cherry blossom petals. This aims to surround the opponent and swirl around them, causing confusion and distraught. It blinds the opponent for the turn in which it is used, and in that turn, the user will aim to attack from a blind spot. Due to it being Short ranged, it works great for encouraging close range combat from the users' side, for quick attacks that don't require chakra to be used in conjunction with this.

(Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu) – Haze Clone Technique

Description: Haze clone technique is like the regular clone technique in creating intangible clones, although these clones will let the enemy go through them without being dispelled or released. Doujutsu can see through these clones as unlike Shadow Clones, they are intangible and lack any form of chakra circulatory system, chakra flow, etc; they are simple images made by chakra. They cannot do harm to any enemy but can be used to communicate and distract the enemies. The clones can be created anywhere within the users sensory field.

Similar to the Clone Technique, where the user will use their chakra to create intangible clones. However, these one can be passed through without dispersing and can speak and distract the opponent. However, like the Clone Technique, these clones lack tangibility and a chakra circulatory system which makes them easy to spot with a Doujutsu. They are simple projections, images made with chakra.

(Konbi Henge) - Combination Transformation

Description: The user and either there summon or a partner combine into one transformation.
Note: Must have a summoning or partner to use this jutsu.

A transformation based technique, where the user and their summoning or partner, will combine into one form. This will allow for easier navigation and movement, as well as make it less of a hassle to move around the field. However, the transformation does not grant the user the abilities of their partner or summoning.

(Shinra Banshō Dōka No Jutsu) - Assimilate All Creation Technique

Description: The user can take on the properties of any earthen material they touch and harden any part of there body. This jutsu also lets the user turn into fine grains of rock that can be used to do another jutsu. The issue with using this technique is that the user will gain all the weaknesses of the material they mimic, even if they are granted their strengths.

Through the use of chakra, the user will through physical contact, assume the properties of any Earthen material. This allows the user to harden any part of their body, or change their body dependent on the material touch. The user will however gain all the strengths and weaknesses of the respective material assumed.

(Oiroke No Jutsu - Onna No Ko Doushi & Otoko No Ko Doushi) - Sexy Jutsu Girl Companions & Guy Companions

Description:The user creates a shadow clone and the user and the clone transform into either two girls or two guys who engage each other in a sexual manner.

After having a Shadow Clone on the field, the user will use their knowledge on transformation to transform themselves and the clone. Assuming the form of two guys or two girls that embrace each other sexually. Used for distraction purposes.

(Kao Utsushi no Jutsu) - Face Copy Technique

Description: This technique allows the user to take on the body of their target. They must remain close to the one they want to copy for a short period of time. Their body will then shape and contort to resemble the target. The copy is said to be so good that even family members of the target cannot tell they are a fake. The user will even take on the smell of the original. Unfortunately, the user does not copy the targets jutsu, leaving them with only their original skills. Practitioners of this jutsu are also skilled in quickly taking on the mannerisms of the original person and playing up the character traits of their target. Through a regular Henge in combination, they can copy the clothing of the opponent. Their appearance will eventually change back to their original form after several days.

After having closely examined their target in close proximity, the user will use chakra to shape and contort their own body, to shape into that of their targets'. The user takes on, not only the physical appearance but also the smell of the target, but not their techniques. Mannerisms and traits are copied as well, allowing them to completely fool those who know the target well. Combined with the normal Henge technique, the clothes of the target can be copied too.

(Ninpo: Bōkun Yobidashi no Jutsu) - Ninja Art: Tyrants Calling Technique

Description: This technique enables the user to project an image of themselves in the sky in order to send a message. This technique can work as a good diversionary technique.

Through the use of chakra, the user will project an image of themselves in the sky. This can be used to send a message to groups geographically apart in the Ninja World or simply as a diversion tactic. It can also be used to talk to leaders in a village while the user is outside it. It offers a good channel of communication as well as a scare tactic, dependent on how its used and by who.

Description: The user will throw three paper bombs connected to kunai that act like parachutes and float down above the enemy. The user will then make the confrontation hand seal to explode the explosive tags when they reach their desired location.

A more tactic based technique, where the user will launch three paper bombs at their target. However, kunai are attached, allowing them to act like parachutes and float toward the target. Through the Confrontation Seal, the paper bombs are triggered and caused to explode violently. Allows the user freedom to place around the field, and basically force the opponent into a position they want as well as offers more control in terms of where they want the kunai to go and land.

Like how the Cherry Blossom Petals are created, the user will use their chakra to create razor sharp daisy heads, which can be launched like Shuriken towards the opponent and cause cutting damage. Can be utilized over a wide area making it more difficult for the opponent to simply dodge.

Description: Using this jutsu, the user can merge with another passive object and take on its properties to avoid any damage. While merged, the user is virtually undetected unless the enemy has a doujutsu. Even chakra sensors won't be able to pinpoint the users position. The limitation of the technique is that to use a technique and mold chakra, the user must fully unmerge although doing so doesn't produce any sound and the user can only be sensed once fully unmerged. The user is still aware of the world outside the object and can travel inside it at his normal running speed. The technique was used so far by 3 ninjas (Yamato, Orochimaru and Uchiha Madara) but as an advanced ninjutsu, it can be used by any skilled enough ninja.
Note: the user must be Sannin Rank and above
Note: Orochimaru and Yamato can use it 5 times per battle, Uchiha Madara can use it 3 times, other ninjas can use it twice.
Note: Cannot merge into mediums which aren't tangible

A technique where the user will utilize their chakra to merge with another passive object like the ground, and assume its properties to avoid damage. When merged with say the ground, the user can't be detected nor sensed by any means. However, while in this merged state, the user must fully emerge before they can use any other technique, and only then can the user be sensed. Whilst inside the material, the user is aware of the world outside the object, and can travel within it at their normal running speed. The user can only merge with a tangible medium like the ground, for example.

(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

A technique where the user will carefully distribute their chakra evenly and create a tangible copy of themselves. This clone has form, and substance, its own chakra circulatory system allowing it to perform techniques that the user can and even bleed. A maximum of four can be created, and they can bleed and be damaged. Once hit with a powerful technique, they will disperse, returning 10% of the chakra it was made out of, as well as any knowledge the clone gained making them perfect for Espionage. The user is indistinguishable from his clones even through Sensory and Doujutsu due to having the same chakra circulatory system as well as appearance.

(Hana Ninpō: Kyōku Sai) - Flower Technique: The District End

Description: The user reaches out his/her hand, sending a stream of flower petals from their palm towards the opponent. The flower petals encircle the enemy and dark smoke fades their surroundings to black, hiding the user.

Through the use of chakra, the user manifests forth a stream of flow petals from their palm towards their target. This aims to encircle them, and create a dark smoke, that causes the targets' surround to fade to black and hiding the user in the confusion.

(Ninjutsu: Nezumi no Hoohige) Ninja Arts: Rat Whiskers

Description: The user will expel chakra outwards, from her hands. The chakra will create a set of 5 wires, thin and sharp but strong, which will immediately wrap around the opponent. While they can be used on their own to powerfully constrict the opponent, they can be used more efficiently by adding an elemental nature to them. Strong elements (Earth, Metal, etc) or Slicing elements (Wind, Lightning, etc) will strengthen or sharpen the thin wires, which will allow them to slice through flesh and bone by the inherited constriction force. Other elements may weaken the body itself, allowing the said slicing effect (Fire burning, Rotting elements, etc). Elements that do not fall in these characteristics will simply add their characteristics to the wires, but will only have the tight grip of normal chakra wires, and not the slicing property.
With one handseal, the wires can be shot from the ground upwards, binding the target. The user can gradually increase the sharpness and the tight hold of the technique by hand gestures (when he uses it from his hands directly as "whips") or by maintaining the hand seal (if used from the ground). The wires are only able to severe the thinner limbs/weak spots and severely injuring the thicker body parts (I.e Severe arms, legs, necks, and Injure torso, head).
Note: If used from the ground, can't perform any further jutsu until the grip is released.
Note: This jutsu can only be used thrice per battle, at max 1 usage every two turns.
Note: The wires follow the element's and rank's weaknesses and strengths.

The user will create a set of thin and sharp wires made with chakra aimed to constrict the opponent. These wires can also be imbued with elemental chakra, making them stronger if imbued with strong elements like Earth or Steel, sharper if imbued with Wind or Lightning and weaken the body if used with Fire, for example. Elemental natures not mentioned will simply offer the wires their characteristics. Alternatively, a single hand seal can be formed to shoot the wires from beneath the opponent to bind the opponent. When using the initial usage of the technique, the grip of the wires can be adjusted with hand gestures and when using the second usage, by holding the hand seal. The wires follow the element used's strengths and weaknesses.

(Kage Kagami Shiten No Hou) - Shadow Mirror Body Change Method

Description: The user turns him/her self into a mirror image of their desired form.This transformation is permanent.The user can only use their own original jutsu.

It just relied on the ninja's ability to mold chakra. The ninja concentrates a contained, fast, rotating sphere of chakra in the palm of their hand, which can create a destructive impact.

Through molding of chakra and focusing a large amount of it to the users' palm, they are able to create a contained fast, rotating sphere of dense chakra. This can be slammed onto an opponent to create a deadly blast, and this technique is marked as the pinnacle of shape transformation.

The user will follow the same way a Rasengan is made, and then focus more chakra into it, creating a much larger ball of chakra that is utilized in a similar manner to the parent technique.

Tool Manipulation and Summoning

Now that we understood the properties of Chakra, and our own ability to shape and manipulate it, let's talk about some more basic applications. Within Basic Ninjutsu, we have a category that is Tool Manipulation. Essentially, is using chakra to handle tools and other basic weapons, a precursor to Kenjutsu & Bukijutsu ( Sword and Weapon Arts ), which are heavily reliant in Artistry and Taijutsu. These are more basic applications, such as using our chakra to grip weapons remotely, shoot them outwards, levitate them, give them more power and more speed, etc. Generally speaking, chakra is capable of mimicking physical strength so, with good chakra control, a weak guy can throw a kunai with the same strength as a strong-arm gym rat, exerting little to force at all.

This also means that, while not visually manifesting chakra, one can use it to remotely manipulate something, as in, apply your chakra influence at a distance. One must always understand that chakra comes from within, and even though you can manipulate something at a distance, chakra must always travel. This travel time is seem as mostly instantaneous when raw chakra, but this is only so when the effects we want to achieve are not traveling itself. To put it more simply, if you want to make a kunai shoot itself 10 meters away from you, you can instantly move your chakra to the kunai, but the chakra manipulated kunai cannot move instantly anywhere.

This travel also means that, when cut of from the object you want to manipulate, either by a physical barrier or a chakra barrier ( like Fuuinjutsu, or Sealing Techniques ) that object is off limits to your basic manipulation.

The user does a sequence of 4 hand seals (Tiger → Rat → Bird → Snake) or slams his hand on the ground or surface. Using his chakra, he is able to stream a multitude of paper tags through the ground and use his chakra to keep them hidden from sight. As they stream towards the target, they are undistinguishable from the ground, seamlessly merged with it. Nearing the target, they rise from the ground, "crawling" up the target. As they wrap themselves in lairs around the target, the user can choose when to detonate them, making a quicker, weaker detonation or waiting for more paper tags to pile in the target and adding more damage.

After the formation of four hand seals, or slamming their hands onto the ground, the user will use their chakra to stream a large amount of paper tags through the ground. They will also be concealed from view, merging with the ground, where they then crawl up onto the opponent's legs. They can then either be detonated, or the user can cause more tags to pile up before detonating them and causing more damage.

(Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu

Description: After throwing one shuriken or more against their target, the user creates up to a thousand shadow clones of the shuriken (or kunai, senbon, etc, basically any basic weapon) after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger which multiply the damage as its striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.

After launching a shuriken, or any basic weapon like a senbon or kunai, the user will form five hand seals. This allows the user to create up to one thousand shadow clones of the weapon initially thrown. These are actual copies, and thus, carrying the markings of the original like if its a sealing tag on it, or an explosive tag.

(Chiripeppā no Bakudan Danmaku) - Chili Pepper Bomb Barrage

Description: The user takes out five kunai, each with a single Chili Pepper Bomb attached. Next, the kunai are flung at various angles in general direction. While the kunai are in motion, the user will perform the handseal associated with Shadow Clones, and multiple the kunai until dozens are made. The result is a barrage of kunai, with even cloned kunai retaining the originals' Chili Pepper Bombs. On contact, the bombs will explode and release the their contents, which'll greatly irritate the eyes of those caught within the release. In addition, any cuts sustained from the kunai will begin to have a burning sensation due to the chili pepper entering the wound.

Note: Can only be performed thrice per battle.

The user will use five kunai, each with a single Chili Pepper Bomb attached to it, and launched it towards the opponent. They are then spread out, and through five hand seals, the kunai are multiplied into shadow clones of the initial weapon. So they all carry the Chili Pepper Bomb on them, and on contact with its target, it explodes and releases the contents. This greatly irritates and burns the eyes of the opponent caught close to it, and causing a burning sensation to any cuts the user may have sustained.

Weapon Summoning

For the final property of chakra, at least relatively basic properties, introduces the concept of Time/Space Manipulation. While earlier we explained that, through chakra, you can remotely affect something at a distance from you, there is something that transcends that. Chakra is capable, through specific instances, affect something in a different realm, or, in the same realm as your own, affect something unrestricted by physical constrictions, by seemingly teleporting. In more advanced applications, which require specific skills, one might be able to achieve pure Time/Space Manipulation, like Doujutsu users, for example, but for now you are limited to the more basic application which is reliant on Scrolls, and considered a Percursor to actual Fuuinjutsu ( Sealing Techniques ).

The idea is, while you're not actually writting or creating these inscriptions, you are making use of them, like a tool to your battle. The scrolls will have a writting in them that links to a separate dimension, which opens up through your chakra. Think like a drawer, but the only thing that exists in your world is the front and handle, while the contents/space of the drawer exists somewhere. By charging chakra through this pre-existent scrolls, you will be able to transport objects within that realm, and make them appear in your world, which you can then manipulate at will.

(Ninjutsu: Nomimono Kohi!) - Ninjutsu: Drink Coffee!

Description: The user of this jutsu takes out a scroll within his pouch that was prepared before battle and holds it in one of his hands. By channeling his chakra into it, it will then poof and summon a coffee mug in its place that had been in Adachi's house prior. After downing the coffee, the caffeine will take quick effect upon the user due to the scientific fact that it blocks the receptors that slow down nerve cell activity. As a result, the user will have a slightly faster heartbeat and bloodflow, and thus, will be unaffected by any jutsu that has a potential factor that could put him to sleep. This coffee was pre-prepared by Adachi himself and sits amongst dozens of other mugs that contain anything from lattes to doubleshot espressos, either steaming hot or icy cold. Description: A summoning technique meant almost exclusively for weapon's experts. To begin, the shinobi will remove two scrolls and set them on the ground, after forming the necessary hand seals, the two scroll rise into the air and begin to swirl around a middle vortex that is the user. They then use this space to launch themselves into the air between the spinning scrolls. From these scrolls the ninja can then summon a mass of weapons, which they then begin to throw at their opponent. If the first barrage fails, they can use wires that run from each weapon to their fingertips to pull them back into the air to strike at their opponent again.

A technique where the user will utilize two scrolls, and set them on the ground. The necessary hand seals are formed, and the two scrolls would start to rise and swirl around the user, leaving at the center. The user will then launch themselves upward between the two, and summon forth a mass of weapons. These are then launched at the opponent, and are also connected to the users' fingertips, allowing for some form of control and freedom in maneuvers.

Description:
The Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags is a technique which forms part of a fighting style purposely designed for those who have been reincarnated or are otherwise very resistant to damage, and employs the use of special explosive tags to create a near infinite series of explosions. The user will throw several (up to 5) special exploding tags at the enemy formed from large sheets that each bear five seals on them. These special tags then attach themselves to the intended target, but just as they detonate, summon additional tags that in turn create more as they too explode. This process is continuously repeated, leading to a near infinite chain reaction of consecutive explosions which engulf a gigantic area, mid range all around. The technique's unique drawback is that to fully use it you need to be in short range of the target, making it almost suicidal for users who cannot take on the damage and remain unarmed, users that cannot escape its range in time or users who cannot heal themselves from the damage, thus being ideal to be used by Edo Tensei summons.

A highly forbidden and dangerous technique, where the user will utilize special explosive tags in order to create an endless chain reaction. Once launched, the special explosive tags (which have five seals on them) would attach to the opponent. They would then detonate, and in doing so, summon more which also explode, and then summon more. This leads to a powerful chain reaction, lasting up to two turns of explosions. However, it needs to be initiated at Short range, making it potentially suicidal.

Description: This summoning is an upgrade of the standard Rashomon in which the user summons 3 of these demonic forms of the main gate of old Kyoto. The user will summon forth three forms of the main gate of old Kyoto. These three gates are capable of acting as a defense, blocking up to A rank and below. Each gate is responsible for a specific objective, the first gate for taking on the attack, the second for reducing its power and the third, for dispersing the pressure.

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Gojū Rashōmon) Summoning Technique: Quintuple Rashōmon

Description:
The user draws blood and does the summoning handseals, slamming his hand on the ground. With one already boasting enormous defensive properties, with this technique the user summons five Rashōmon gates to block an incoming attack. The defence is quite formidable, and with five gates, the user is also able to change the trajectory of an incoming attack if they are proven unable to completely stop it. This technique can defend the user against any S-Rank technique but, due to its enormous scale, becomes hard to use in most situations because of the area one needs to summon the gates.
Note: Usable twice per battle

The user will draw blood, and form the needed hand seals, and slam their hand onto the ground. This allows them to summon forth five of the Rashomon gates to block an incoming attack, and even change the trajectory of it, when not sufficient to stop it. It can defend up to S rank techniques, but due to its large size, its difficult to use in some situations where one is limited by terrain or area.

Animal Summoning & Animal Contract

Stemming from the previous category is a very special Time/Space Manipulation, which is Animal Summoning. Now, the Scroll is not just a drawer, but an actual Blood Contract between you a species of animal within the world. You can picture this as if the pre-existing scroll is henceforth hidden within your blood, and through it you can transport an animal of your choosing from their world or from their location into yours, while mutually accepting that they can do the same to you.

This process begins by choosing a species and forming a Contract with them. Physically signing a scroll without blood in it, which will permanently link you to that animal species. After the contract is done, you will have the ability of summoning Generic Animals from that Contract & Specific Animals, which have actual jutsu describing them.

If, for example, you picked the Dog Contract, you can use the basic Summoning Technique to bring into your location any generic dog: A Pup, an Adult Dog, a Chihuahua, a German Sheppard, etc. These generic animals will have no extra properties other than be able to use chakra to perform the Summoning & Reverse summoning technique, and can be using basic clothes and basic weapons ( swords, kunai, hammers, etc ). They can't really use actual techniques, unless specified in the contract itself,with the exception of Animal Summoning Techniques and techniques related to the animal contract, which you may create.

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu) - Summoning Technique

Description:
To summon the creature the ninja will wipe blood on his hand, perform the Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram handseals and then touch the ground or another object, where a sealing formula will appear. Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete, most summoning uses use a solid surface, though in some cases it can even be done mid air. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, then touch the ground. Others will clap their hands directly like Nagato through the use of his Animal Path. The user must have signed the contract with the creature he wants to summon but the technique can be used to summon a generic creature of that contract (B-Rank) which will have no special traits or abilities beyond those normal to the rest of the animals in the contract. The animal is always summoned on the mark that appears upon slamming the users hand or, if not the case, always in short range of the user.

The basic summoning technique where the user will first wipe some blood onto their hand and form the necessary five hand seals. The user will then slam their hand onto the ground, or any surface (even the air), causing a sealing formula to spread and bring forth the animal connected to the contract the user had signed. However, with this technique, the user is only able to summon forth a generic version of the animal from the contract, basic with no abilities. The animal is always summoned Short range of the user. Alternatively, the user is also able to swipe blood onto a summoning tattoo in order to summon forth their animal.

(Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu) – Reverse Summoning Technique

Description: This technique is the counterpart of the summoning technique, in which it allows an animal to summon the human that they have a contract with back to their side, regardless of where they are. The animal must be at least B-Rank in strength to have enough chakra to use the technique though all animals that can use Ninjutsu in any form can use this technique on their summoners.

A counterpart technique to the summoning one, where the animal will summon forth the user to their side, regardless of where they are. This acts in the same way as normal summoning. However, the summon has to B rank and above, in rank and also capable of using Ninjutsu.

Advanced Ninjutsu & Character Restricted

Finally, and as an epilogue, Ninjutsu is as diverse as can be, so most ninja and clans will adapt these basic concept and deepen them, creating bio bound or clan bound abilities that step away from this list, such as Aburame's Insect Manipulations, Nara's Shadow Manipulation, etc, and you should pursue training in those areas if they interest you.

Even within basic applications, some more advanced concepts that utilize more than one category do exist. In the following we will explain these with more detail. As opposed to before, there's no real connection between these techniques.

(Kanashibari no Jutsu) - Temporary Body Paralysis Technique

Description: Kanashibari no Jutsu is a simple Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an animal (or animals). With the target frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. It can only be used against animal (summons or not) and works by forcefully using your chakra to restrain the summon physically by holding it in place. It can, however, be broken by outside means or brute force, making it less effective against bigger summons like boss summons or similar.
Note: lasts only as long as the user is focusing on the target to sustain it.

A technique where the user will use their chakra to temporarily bind an animal, using it to either attack or retreat. It can be used against summons, however it is less effective against summons like Boss Summons. It can be broken through brute force or outside means, and it needs to be sustained.

Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.

A technique where the user will use their chakra to give off a pure killing intent in the form of pressure of the users' chakra and magnitude. This affects the opponent, and anyone around the user, up to the point of causing paralyses, seeing visions of their own death, nausea, pain. The technique is often confused with Genjutsu, due to its effects. To be used, it requires the user focusing on the opponent, and having true killing intent, however, it is highly dependent on the ranking of the user and the opponent respectively. It also only lasts while the user is focusing on the opponent, and isn't able to mold any chakra while its active.

Description:
This is an advanced ability that ninjas with great chakra control can learn to use and that Bijuu possess innately. The user will release his or hers unmolded chakra onto another ninja, effectively transferring it. The technique has many uses, from restoring an allies chakra to releasing him from a Genjutsu or simply to give him more chakra to mold, allowing him to drastically boost the power of a technique. Tsunade could even use this technique, together with her Creation Rebirth technique to, in conjunction with her summon Katsuyu, heal multiple people at the same time during Pain's attack on Konohagakure. If used to power the use of a technique, the recipient of the chakra can boost one technique by adding +20 chakra to it which increases its damage by +40. To do this, the recipient must mold the technique while the user of Chakra Tenso no Jutsu is transferring chakra into him, meaning that both the transfer and the technique must be done at the same time. The transfer can only be done with direct contact between user and target and restores the targets chakra by up to 100 points per turn. The technique can even be used by ninjas with natural energy passively coursing through their chakra flows, as a medical ninja's near perfect chakra control enables them to filter the unwanted and sometimes harmful energy from entering the recipients chakra system.
Note: Only usable by bios with great chakra control (NB Medical Ninjas, Hyuuga bios, Canon Medical Ninjas). Bios seen using it in the manga can also use it.

An advanced technique, restricted to those with good chakra control like Medical Nin, Hyuga and Canon Medical Nin, the user will release their chakra to another shinobi, transferring it. However, the transfer only works through direct contact and must be done at the same time as the technique one wishes to enhance of the allies'.

The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.

Description: Naruto while in Nine-Tails Chakra Mode creates a large Rasengan in one of his hands, which is then surrounded by three smaller Rasengan, in a similar manner to how satellites revolve around a planet. When coming into contact with a target, the disordered rotations of the individual Rasengan, created with the large Rasengan in the center spinning in one direction, with the smaller ones oribting it spin in the opposite, they interact with each other to form a huge conical and turbulent vortex.

Description: Naruto whilst in the Nine Tailed Chakra mode uses chakra arms to form multiple Rasengan (a maximum of 4) while doing the confrontation hand seal. He can then hit multiple opponents while holding the Rasengan with the chakra arms.
